While SKD is def our weakest link, along with FPN, the entire team has been way below par aside from Pearce, Cordner, Maubs and Moa. The biggest disappointments have been Hargreaves and Baloney. They have been woeful the opening month.

Whilst I'm grateful for his courage to help win us a GF, he is a risk. The reward is becoming less and less obvious.

He is no longer a long range try scorer. He's dropped balls on top of our current poor handling adds to our woes I'd like to see Maubs play right centre for a few games to send a message. Keep Kane and Napa in the team to continue their FG experience with SBW coming back.

Based upon the opening 4 rounds, you'd be more likely to get a spilled pill from Jennings than from SKD.

He is one of the worst players ive seen in first grade and i have no doubt that at any other club he would be playing reserve grade (once again im not a fan, but come on!)... and if the refs didnt already give the game to them on a platter already.. Dont get me wrong manly played well (really well) but there is no way in the world at nrl level u can justify a 11-2 penalty based on the game i witnessed tonight.. It is appauling.. I agree with the no try but am not happy with the inconsistency.. Just had to vent.. Ps JWH will no doubt miss a few games just for reputation alone which is ridiculous.. And thank god for SBWs return!!
He wasn't the only one who made mistakes.
RTS was missing from guarding the sideline when Manly scored their only try.
Plenty of other players dropped the ball, including Cordner?
The ball had to be slippery...wet ground, wet day.
Not a sunny Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

                Others threw wayward passes.

Training this week should be passing and catching practice.
Hose the ball and pass it.

Also gotta watch out for other teams wetting the ball with their water bottles, a la that day at Knightsville?

For many years I've advocated that our players wear gloves.

I agree on Friday night, SKD wasnt our weakest but was still poor. I have never been a fan, and dont think I ever will be. That is one position we need to strengthen fast.

P.S. For those bagging Jennings and comparing him to SKD, look at his performances last year.. Jennings was the leading try scorer, SKD on the other hand had a great game in the GF but thats it. Consistency is the key.

I know if I was marking up against the Roosters centres, I rather mark up against SKD than Jennings any day of the week.

SKD has been our weakest link for years and I have been his biggest critic.

But credit where credit is due. He pulled off the tackle of the night when he stopped Matai one metre from the line. The tackle was Inglis like.

Fergo will replace him next year.

                          Agree.

                          Agree.

Tau Tau is scheduled to return this week, hopefully he makes a successful return via the Jets. If so, i pray TRobbo looks at fast tracking him into the team Rd 11/12 to replace rocks or diamonds.

The comparison wasn't entirely serious - only an idiot would swap Jennings and SKD. My point was that on this years performances only, SKD is probably slightly ahead, is all.

If we're going back to last year, Jennings was outstanding. Then again, 3 years ago SKD was outstanding, too.

Gman, I think everyone has their fingers crossed for TauTau this time, I just hope they have given him enough time for the ACL graft to fully take, its 8 months post surgery, the AFL have been trending towards 12 months recovery for ACL injuries especially for those with 2nd time surgeries.

He's not even been proven in reserve grade.
He was much prasied in the 20's, but wasn't sighted in that semi or final or whatever it was.

Has a long way to go before he's anywhere near as good as SKD.
