I used to play against Plum in juniors. I was twice his size - I reckon back in the u13s-15s age he wouldn't have been any more than 60kg, he was a rake. But when he tackled you you said a few Hail Marys and hoped you would come out of the other end of it alive. His shoulders are made of granite, Christ it used to hurt.

Always been one of my favourite players to watch but it's taken him 6-7 years to start adding a bit of attack to his game.

But as someone else pointed out he will be 31 next year so unless it was a cheapish 1-2 year deal I wouldn't seriously contemplate it.

Great to see him going well for the Panfffers though, genuinely good guy.

I didn't see this weekends game, but I watched him a few weeks ago and was hugely surprised how effective he was carting it up. He's always been a rock in defense, but had no running game whatsoever. He seems to have bulked up a bit too. Maybe he's shaken the Chrones Disease that was knocking him around when he was with us?
