Possession is key - Penalties and 6 agains will fatigue the defensive side
Yep and this is where we're real untidy. Year after year we get spanked in penalties and 6 agains. Easts are great at putting pressure on ourselves...very frustrating to watch them blow themselves up,
I do think it's hilarious that we are stacked for lock forwards with Victor Radley, Nat Butcher, Blake Steep, Connor Watson, Salesi Foketi.... and yet somehow Egan Butcher has ended up with the starting spot.
That was not on my team selection bingo card for this year.
Happy to see Foketi back in the team though, he absolutely tore up in NSW Cup last week.
This is going to be a very hard game.
Hard game in the sense that Souths are going to be so up for it plus I think they have more aggressive players.
My head says Souths but of course my heart says the Roosters.
Happy to see Bobby T and Foketi back, both bring some class. Fell out of love with the Butcher boys some time ago. Yeah they have their moments and Nat works hard in defence, he's up and down like a workin gals knickers. But when I see the bruvvers in the top squad (to me) it symbolises where we are now...below the top rung.

Are you going to run on the field if Johnston breaks the record?
Are you going to run on the field if Johnston breaks the record?
Hehehehehe
I cant afford 5k mate.
On that point I dont think they should allow anyone to run on the field, it will just take 1 Souths supporter to bump into a Rooster player on purpose & then who knows what would happen.

You're too humble mate
I agree with the latter sentence.
