Last years rd 2 game against the Panthers was an absolute boil over for us.
It was probably our best win of the season Foketi, Wong, Losalu, Makatoa, Docker-Clay, Steep, it was a very inexperienced & young forward pack, Chad Townsend at halfback as well & we won.
Fingers crossed for us against Souths.

storm had a few out that day. the round two win over the premiers was a real season changer. one of our best regular season wins of all time

Why are we so full or errors and poor discipline ?

This isn't something new it's season after season that we make the job much harder for ourselves.

This is the big concern with Robinson,new year same issues..

When you see the same problems arising regularly then we clearly have a problem..

Bingo. Exacly it's not a new problem and you'd think that it should've been addressed by now. Alls we do is put so much pressure back on ourselves and invite the other team to come get us.

I am sure it's spoken about in video sessions plus strategies practiced in game simulations and scenarios to reduce errors and penalties conceded.

In the end, though, once players cross the white line, there is zilch any coach can do about players making errors and conceding penalties and set restarts despite whatever training is undertaken.

Players also have to take responsibility and be accountable for this.

Players need to improve their focus and discipline and better defend errors, penalties and set restarts conceded and not compound these and concede points as a result.

Slow lethargic season starts.
Ill-discipline thru most of the season, panic and lack of composure when things get tough.
Pick up some wins and form mid-season battling hard to make the top 4 or top 8.
Run out of puff come finals due to the pressure and intensity of many must win games in a row.
1st and last season games usually the worst.
Rinse and repeat.

That's Roosters footy...Enjoy.

it's about a one in ten chance to throw four or less heads in fourteen coin tosses so it's probable that there's some sort of issue but not impossible that it's partly bad luck.
the first game is no more or less important than every other game and the season is still there to be seized
