Looking through the stats, Wong ran for the most metres of all forwards, making half in post contact. He’s a beast who’s probably going to assist in the middle rotation rather on an edge where his defence is as critical.

I’d also love to see Foketi on the right edge, but with Steep locking down 13 rather than Watson. Steep was terrific again yesterday and seems to improve with each game.

It will be interesting when Radley returns.

I guess from my perspective there are 2 ways of picking the team.

1. The best from who's available.

or

2. We're still currently rebuilding so giving future stars as much game time is the priority.

I'm not sure which way I'd go as there's plenty of growth in this team. I also think that we could potentially blow most teams off the park when we click on the day.
Our challenge will be finding the middle ground and developing a style of play that can score points at will and close down tight games. The potential is definitely there!

Looked way out of his depth in both attack and defense..

Benny was again easily gassed after only three minutes into the second half, with DCE seeing his distress and jumping into dummy half. Much like Leniu I feel that Benny will never be a long minute workhorse. I sincerely hope I am wrong on that point but I just don't see how we can turn a sprinter into a stayer.

Just watching it now and this just reiterates what I say every year about Sam. If he's allowed to breathe, roam and play his natural game, we always do well.

We are lucky that Trent does give him free rein to do this. Norhing worse that feeling stifled or claustrophic and not being allowed to be your natural self.

Im just watching the replay now & that Mitchell Moses is such a good player, I remember when he debuted for the Tigers at fullback about 10 years ago & he was a twig & to see him now so fit & built, he is a solid dude so that got me thinking about our Sammy (who is also a very good player) & about just how long it takes to be built like a sports version brick sh!thouse. It takes 9 or 10 years of professional training to build that muscle & hardness to play FG. Sammys got another 5 years of weights & hard training to get another 5 to 7kg of muscle on.
