Pathetic, appalling, disjointed, disorganised. Dropathon, knockonathon, No defense. Can’t tackle. No go forward. Robbo’s fault. Why can eels hold onto the ball and roosters not? Different coach. Only a trial but eels are no storm or Penrith. Not a top 8 team.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

Depth is good comparative to other clubs, bit of a void in the centres though.Originally posted by DP1990 View PostIs it just me or are our fringe/back up players crap compared to other teams ?
Toia is supposed to be right for Round 1 which is a blessing because next man up isn't obvious nor fills me with any confidence.

Only a trial
big difference between the main 17 and the drop to the next
missing 5 from the starting side which 3 should be back for round 1
walker only real shining light, gee we missed him when he was injuried he will top the try assists easily this year
worry after our starting back 5 what is avaialable, centres short so Marky may need to fill in there! Talau was the best of the nsw cup guys, noticed Ramsay didn’t play again
pauga Was poor
noticed Critchon was off, let’s hope not a re peat of 2023, seems to get dominated and try’s to get the offload all the time
still feel we are another big middle short
waiting for Wong to explode but doesn’t have they real fast twitch feel about him yet
only positive to injuries tonight

Yeh first half the was probably the closest insight to how we might go Round 1 form but even then I wouldn't read too much into it, it's a trial I've never been able to find any correlation between Round 1 form and trials. It's about as good as a 50/50 bet from my experience.Originally posted by QWERTY View PostRusty as expected but pretty much all our spine was taken off after the first half. I don’t think we’ve won a trial since 2024

Yes was off tonight let’s hope he doesn’t go back to 23Originally posted by Rooster_6 View PostConcerning that Angus Crichton is still looking to offload after getting hit hard in a tackle. Has already resulted in two turnovers this game and was a really bad habit of his last year too.
seems to when getting dominated in attack allways try’s to offload which just causes pressure on everyone else
