Is it just me or are our fringe/back up players crap compared to other teams ?

Pathetic, appalling, disjointed, disorganised. Dropathon, knockonathon, No defense. Can’t tackle. No go forward. Robbo’s fault. Why can eels hold onto the ball and roosters not? Different coach. Only a trial but eels are no storm or Penrith. Not a top 8 team.

Depth is good comparative to other clubs, bit of a void in the centres though.

Toia is supposed to be right for Round 1 which is a blessing because next man up isn't obvious nor fills me with any confidence.

We lose a trial and it is doom and gloom in here. It was 6 points with a few first graders on the sideline and others benched for the second half.

Yeh first half the was probably the closest insight to how we might go Round 1 form but even then I wouldn't read too much into it, it's a trial I've never been able to find any correlation between Round 1 form and trials. It's about as good as a 50/50 bet from my experience.

Concerning that Angus Crichton is still looking to offload after getting hit hard in a tackle. Has already resulted in two turnovers this game and was a really bad habit of his last year too.
