Clearly they're built differently.Originally posted by SamKerrSimp View PostDCE turns 37 tomorrow he will not be playing the role that 26 year old James Maloney played in 2013 lol
We're talking systematically here!
Minichiello is one of my all time favourite Roosters. I mean no disrespect to him when I say that Maloney was the real captain during the 2013 campaign.
You'll find that DCE will be extremely vocal with Teddy taking a back seat at times.Last edited by Bates; Yesterday, 02:41 PM.

I think thats the side Robbo is getting ready for rd 1.
Like Ive been saying Nat Butcher is going to be in the run on team come rd 1 if he's fit & Egan will be on the bench.
Steep at lock is a bit of a surprise but Im glad Whyte is starting in the front row.
Cherry's first game.
I wonder why Toups & Bobby T arent playing.
I think Robo has more or less shown us this week what our Round 1 side will be (1 to 17)
With positions 18 and 19 now likely Hugo and Foketi due to Radley and Robson being unavailable
My guess Beniah comes in for Robson (Specialist hooker for Specialist hooker)
Being a trial, I would of liked to of seen how Hugo would of gone in the outside backs.
Would make his bench value increase.

I know that Eloni Vunaceke is the oldest player to make their first grade debut while at the club (28 or 29) so if anyone is going to be older than DCE in history I would assume it was very early on in the NSWRFL comp maybe someone in the 1910s or 1920s was 40 and changed clubs.

Surprised Roosters are favourites with the bookies
With a Trophy and prize money in their sights, I imagine Parra will play all out for the win and with the hope of putting them in a positive mindset for the new season
For the Roosters its a trial

Whether its a trial or not I want the Chooks to win & Im sure the coaches & players would want that as well.
