It's a big yes from me.
Where do you get the figure of 500k from?

Born & bread Panthers boy (played junior rugby league for the St Mary’s Saints) who is in their top 13 so why do you think he would want to leave?

Personally Batesy or Batsey I think Taylor Losalu has plenty to offer.

$500k is what I think Lindsay Smith is worth. He is middle tier imo.

You need to convince Robbo about the concreter. I'm all in!

      So do you miss Turk?

No because we now have you.

Turk was cool & he's still around

Seriously though, why aren't we going after guys like Lindsay Smith?

He has that element of old school hardness that we need!

imo our pack needs an overhaul! It's all well and good during the season proper then like a flick of a switch our deficiencies are exposed in the finals.

We should've signed at least one of the below players after JWH retired. DCE was not a priority imo! Why? Because we ain't winning the comp this season. DCE will be gone next year meanwhile Hugo's development has suffered and we're pretty much back to square one. Total short sightedness from Robbo.

            JFH
            AFB
            Stefano Utoikamanu
            Keaon Koloamatangi.
            Tino
            Payne Haas

And remember we had Cronk as our halves coach. What this highlights is that it takes time for halves to mature and play premiership winning footy. It doesn't happen overnight!

There's nothing DCE will show the boys that Cronk hasn't already focused on.

The Broncos fitness and mental strength that Maguire instilled in them was also the difference! They came from behind against the The Panthers and Raiders because they were the fitter team. They also had momentum when it counted against the Storm in the GF because again they were the fitter team.

                2 Things

                1. Haas is overrated imo.

                2. We haven't reached the level of fitness that is required in the 6 again era once since it was introduced. We've become farking soft because Robbo has ticked all his boxes and is too comfortable imo.
Even when Haas is quiet he's attracting a LOT of opposition attention in defence. Which means more space for others.

Big money on a prop is always iffy. But Haas is the exception. Big minutes, fast, skillfull and - obviously - massive.

I don't think you can compare him to any other prop in the game tbh.

Yeah I get that. Both defenders are having to face inwards to stop a beast like Haas which causes other problems to the defensive line. I was a little harsh saying that Haas is overrated.

Sorry Bates. Have to disagree , Lindsay Smith is pedestrian at best , he has been made to look good because of the players around him . A big no from me . Our Lindsay is a far better player !

Yeah Nah - He's won 2 comps with Penrith. 2023 and 2024. There are no pedestrians in premiership winning teams!

He also played 2 games for the Kangaroos in 2024. Again pedestrian players don't make the Australian team.

He's 26 years old. His best years are ahead of him!

Collins only performs for QLD these days.

Haas by a mile. Best front rower in the game by a long way who is a matchwinner at prop.

Todd Payten is a freak. Who sends a full strength team out to play a trail?

That's like Usain Bolt turning up for little athletics.
