Hass at $1.4m over Keaon at $1m for sure.
I’d also swap RW&B Lindsay for Keaon; Maroon Lindsay is a different story though, he’s a keeper.

Has one game (2025 Grand Final) changed the way we look at Payne Haas? There was none of this hype back in 2023 when the Panthers beat the Broncos in the Grand Final. Zero. Haas who???

There was a sliding doors moment when somehow the Broncos came back and beat the Raiders 29 to 28 in last years qualifying final. The Comp was the Raiders to lose imo! This conversation could well be about Joseph Tapine had that sliding door moment not occurred.

Perhaps Robbo and the club see things clearer and think Haas is not worth breaking the budget for.

Most of us have a mate that supports Souffs. My good friend Rick who I met at Daceyville Police Boys Club many decades ago is a hard core Souffs man. He hates the direction the club he loves has taken and hasn't watched a game since they shafted Adam Reynolds.

What also surprised me is how he feels about Latrell Mitchell and CEO Bake Solly....... Quote - " I won't watch another game until Mitchell and Solly are gone"

This from a fan that has souffs tats all over his body.

"Haas camp also denied there was a get-out clause in the Rabbitohs deal to potentially move to R360". (Source Foxsports 1 hour ago)

          Funny that!

The timing of the Haas to Souffs deal has been interesting and a touch unlucky for the Broncos. I reckon they make a play for Tino or Keaon if this all played out months ago.

Tino being a QLDER would've been welcomed with open arms imo

I think i'm going to change my name to Cassius as changing ones name is currently all the rage.

I can't wait to eventually see the following spine. Robbo owes it to Savala and Walker to play alongside a quality 9.

                  1. Teddy
                  6. Savala
                  7. Walker
                  9. Robson

Let’s hope Walker and/or Savala can learn Game Management 101 from DCE this year, which was sadly lacking when it mattered most at the back end of 25. Then we will have a premiership winning spine.

That spine is a thing of beauty that screams POINTS GALORE.

Every box is ticked except for game management which is highly overrated these days. Broncos won their last comp on freakish class from Reece Walsh and the good ole power game. Zero game management required.

Pretty much a simultaneous post Brother Steggles and we both highlighted game management.

Speaking of Reece Walsh. 20 plus clutch moments that he nailed in last years finals series. I've never seen anything like it!

If Haas is worth $1.4 mill then Walsh's realistic value is $2 mill a year. None of his magic was from playing off the front foot courtesy of his pack/Haas. It was all pretty much individual brilliants.

I'm shocked that Lindsay Smith from the Panthers is off contract at the end of this season. We're a big boy short of a picnic and he has plenty to offer. Great value imo at around $500k

It's a big yes from me.

Lindsay Smith is six-foot-four and full of muscle
