You living up to your name?

For context, if true, i wouldnt go anywhere near Haas with those so called get out clauses.

    Im disappointed about Tino though.

      A total coup.

Came completely out of nowhere, and possibly the biggest signature in the game. Up there with snaring Cleary.

I despise them, but am begrudgingly impressed that they just made themselves relevant again.

I imagine Politis would be livid.

But hey, we got DCE so...
Souffs released Koloamatagi in order to achieve this 'coup'. It's a classic Souffs move, where they dump a local junior who's ticking all the boxes in order to afford a marquee signing.

Good on them for signing Fifita and Haas. Two 'beasts' who can also be lazy as fark and seem to spend 90% of their time asserting they've got a get-out clause, which they'll be milking to the max while their club struggles with form/retention (scrum Brisbane's premiership... Canberra bundled them out in week 1 of the finals... the game was a fix).

I'm glad we've got faithful players like Whyte, Collins, Rads, Watson, Butcher...etc on our books. Leniu and Robson add a heap of spice to our lineup as well.

Looking forward to seeing Souffs fail despite trying to buy a premiership. Hope Nick trolls the hell outta them by arranging regular coffee catch-ups with Haas to check where he's at regarding his get out clause.

Have to agree on Mr Koloamatangi, there were times when he was a one man show at the Bunnies, in a parallel Universe we would have signed him to partner Mr Whyte, would have been a real gas. Then again Lindsay might give a remember me year.
        Agree about the Canberra final.
All in all, have to say Souths will a whooping big threat, with Haas there, would be a nervous, shaky bravado, not to realise that.
By '27 our young forwards will will be gangbusters in tenacity, we can match and surpass what they have to offer.

Souths didn’t dump a local junior who was ticking all the boxes in order to afford a marquee signing.
Souths made an offer to Koloamatagi but the offer from the Dragons was way more & for longer. The Dragons payed massive overs for him.
Is Hass a great buy for Souths?
          What a question.
Only those who are bitter bitches think he’s not a great get for them.

I get the rivalry banter, but calling Payne Haas “lazy” is a wild take. Even his quiet games he’s still bending the line, winning the ruck and doing the hard carries most middles can’t sustain for 60+.

Also the “90% of the time talking about get-out clauses” stuff is basically fan fiction unless you’ve got actual quotes. Contracts have clauses all the time — doesn’t automatically mean the bloke’s mentally checked out.

And the “the game was a fix” line just kills your credibility completely. You can hate Souths (I do too), but if you want to make a point, stick to footy not conspiracies.

Haas + Fifita is a scary combo. We’ll back our squad, but pretending those two are overrated or lazy is just bitterness.

mmm will this be like the board has full confidence in the coach scenarios - The coach is gone by or before the end of the week.

The Broncos Chairman refuted suggestions they "low balled" Haas saying their offer was 7.8 mill over 6 years with ratchet clauses for when the salary cap increases - Reportedly Haas's Camp didn't want to commit too far into the future - mmm I wonder why - talks of Souths agreeing to get out clauses should Haas decide R360 is a better pay day perhaps?

                    It doesn't make sense

Sorry ism , fifita can be lazy agreed.

But payne hass is close to the busiest player in the nrl , absolute beast , and id say goodbye to collins in heartbeat to sign him.

You got that take way wrong.

If Hass was offered to the Roosters but we would have to release Whyte to Souths I think the Chooks would do it.
Hass is 26 & is by far the best forward in the game, of course you would take him clauses or no clauses.

Wouldn’t let Whyte go but I’d be happy to part with Collins and maybe even Spencer too

Calling AI because you don't like the take is a bit of a reach. I'm just posting from my phone mate, not writing a thesis.

Sorry mate but it had all the hallmarks. Happy to be rebutted (and called a fool, which I find quite hilarious coming from random dribblers on the int3rwebz who don't even know me) but that was just lazy.

                                Release Whyte?
                                Surely you joke.
He's our best forward, close to our best player.
We should not be signing players with clauses.
It should be that you're totally committed to the Roosters for the length of your contract or you're not.
If not, then you don't get signed.
Whyte is not our problem...our problem is our ...mistake rate...59% completion rate is the first half in the round 27 game against Souths, for example.
