    Great, great player. Great signing.

    Now all they need is a 1, 6, 7 and 9.

Haas was awesome even when Brisbane were a rabble. A great prop can never overcome shortcomings in your spine and a bad bro culture.

I know right they still won’t be relevant we have put cricket scores on the drongos at Suncorp with Payne in the team a couple of times bloke is a mercenary and I’m glad he didn’t come here and that useless peanut Fifita.

Tino would have been great type of forward leader I’d have in the team everyday of the week would fit our culture also alas not to be we are building.

If (& its an "If ") they all fire, Im talking Hass, Arrow, Fifita, Cheese & Murray then Humphries, probably Wighton at 5/8 & Grey at the back will kill it plus they have Latrell, Campbell Graham as weapons as well & the soon to be all time try scorer.
At the end of the day Tommy they will be better with Hass.

I’m glad the Chooks didn’t break the bank to sign him.

I’d also imagine there’d be some clauses in the contract for Payne to wriggle out of. Likely a change of course for Souths after Suaalii rejected their offer to join the Chooks.

Lots of bridge to pass under the water between now and 2027.

Especially when guys like Arrow, Wighton and Walker do not have much left. The same might be the case for the Cheese.

Latrell and Fifita might have also packed the game in by then and formed a wrestling tag team instead.

Murray and Graham are also already busted.

You've presented the best case lightning in a bottle scenario. It may happen. But for more likely it does not.

Either way Haas is a great signing for sure. But it's more likely they miss the top 8 for those 3 seasons than win a comp.

I remember the hype over Latrell's signing and he's been an abject failure; barely playing a finals game in 6 years for the Vermin.

There are get out clauses related to 360 that broncos wouldn’t allow. It seems Haas is all about money. He has achieved all he can in league.

Huge get. Fair play to Souths getting the deal done behind the scenes. Seemingly came out of nowhere.

Impossible not to respect his play - I think he's the clear best front rower since Webcke and I've always actually admired what I know about him off the field, with what he's done for his siblings and what he's made of himself despite his upbringing. And he's been a very good, consistent Origin player for us too

so it's too bad that I now have to hate his guts. but I don't make the rules and I certainly didn't make him sign for the scum

Came for less money, wanted to be closer to his muslim mates & culture as it was navigated by Khoder Nasser behind closed doors . Hope this upsets you even more hahaha

Good luck to them. With the amount of salary cap Souffs are using up on an ageing roster they will need that luck.

What would you do if you were Hugo Savala and Souffs offered you $500k a year to jump ship?

                            Culture?

He's Australian born of Islander decent and lives in Brisbane.

What part of his culture is he missing out on that can be found in Sydney

Yeah nah, it was Bennett that lured him across!

Bennett coached both Fifita and Haas at the Broncos and had a very good relationship with them.

He went after his man once Keaon had signed with the Dragons.

Maybe if they win a premiership.
