  • Payne's me to admit

But hats off to the old foe on the Haas signing.

    A total coup.

Came completely out of nowhere, and possibly the biggest signature in the game. Up there with snaring Cleary.

I despise them, but am begrudgingly impressed that they just made themselves relevant again.

I imagine Politis would be livid.

But hey, we got DCE so...

It's all about the money for Payne so the highest bidder wins I guess.

Souffs are clearly on tilt with their salary cap and what they're paying a number of players. Next they'll be offering Reynolds $1.5 mill a year to come home.

Will stuff their cap up for years. Won’t be able to afford a decent half or five eighth and they won’t win anything without a decent halves pairing. Money spent in all the wrong positions.

It's a three year signing isn't it? How bad could it screw their cap?

I'd be pretty stoked if it was us.

If the tables were turned and we signed him could you imagine the place? It would be up there with making the finals I reckon. Like you said a total coup. The biggest name you could possible get.

Absolutely, generational pick up for them.
Wonder why we didn't go in hard for Keaone?
As talented as our depth is, these are a proven quality, and signings as these lift a side considerably.

I was always told that he would end up in Sydney after his last contract expired, he needed a change of environment. & i was 70% sure it was going to be us. Dam!!!! He signed with the wrong Sydney jersey lol

Not too sure about that, first Fafita and now Hass, Souths look the goods unfortunately.

                        No one's celebrating mate.

                        It's frankly depressing.

                        But a coup nevertheless.

Haas will get them on the front foot only to see their budget halves turn the ball over whilst the worlds most expensive centre pairing in Mitchell and Wighton never see the ball. Our centres combined would be under $1 mill. Souffs almost $2 mill

Salary cap management at it's best.

I cant wait to play them when they have Hass, Mitchell, Campbell Graham, Cheese, Fifita, Wighton, Humphries, Tass, Duncan, Murray, Arrow, Grey, Johnson & the rest, we'd want to be on our game.
If he joined say the Roosters, Dogs, Storm, Penrith, Cronulla or the Dolphins you would definitely say they're titlel contenders & his acquisition by Souths will have them right back in the frame.

arrow, Tatola, Fifita and cheese on $700k allready in the pack
