Thanks as always, you are easily the most insightful poster on this forum

Jackson Stewart - Played mostly fullback last year due to Rex's injury but more naturally a centre. Beautiful mover, good upper body strength, strong left hand palm, likes to carry the ball in two hands and stand defenders up, similar to how Joey Manu used to.
Jackson Allen - $1.01 for the diminutive dummy half to sit someone on their ass in defence at some point when he gets on. If he gets a chance to scoot his speed is electric. I know this forum loves a running dummy half, I think this kid will excite a few if he gets minutes.
Kanaan Magele - young prop with a good engine but what impresses me most is how well he does on both sides of ball. Takes tough carries with good yardage but gets through a mountain of work in defence too. Has a bit of a screw loose too, I reckon Robbo will love him and he's my outside pick to debut this year. Not part of the train and trial contracts but post Round 11 I reckon he might get a couple of games off the bench.
Lui Lee - Will go back to SG ball after this game so don't think he's any chance of playing first grade this year but relation of Edrick and Brenko. Big aggressive centre with a great left foot step. Will be lots of fun in attack if he gets good minutes.

I'd love to see the concreter take the bull by the horns and make a statement in this game making it near impossible for Robbo not to give him more game time in the top grade.Originally posted by Davo View PostTrial team

The Roosters NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Squads are also playing a trial this weekend also - 14th February - Lidcombe Oval - We may know the make up of these squads if they post the team lists on the Roosters site.
I did see that Anthony "Tony" Barnes is apparently back at the Roosters and will coach Jersey Flegg ? - His Son Tait is an NRL Assistant Coach at the Roosters this season

Junior Reps Teamlist | Saturday, 14th February, 2026
Our junior representative sides for this weekend’s matches have been named. Six of our eight teams will be in action.
Sydney Roosters S.G. Ball Cup Team (Round 2):
Coach Boyd Cordner has named his team to play the Illawarra Steelers in their Round 2 (3.00 pm) clash on Saturday in Wollongong.
After suffering concussion early in last weekend’s Round One victory, Liam Bell is out. Ryan Tukapau who played the final 59 minutes of that game at hooker, is the replacement, with Jack Dean-Potaka taking Tukupau’a bench spot.
Itula Seve will join other S.G. Ball Cup squad members Rex Bassingthwaite and Lui Lee on NRL duty this weekend. His place on the S.G. Ball Cup bench will be taken by Kiwi Nathan Lopamaua. Brooklyn Heath takes Lopamaua’s spot as 18th man. Last season’s premiership winning winger E.J. Mahu-Delamere (shoulder) will be out for some time.

Central Coast S.G. Ball Cup Team (Round 2):
Coach Adam McEwan has named his team to play the Penrith Panthers in their Round 2 (2. 30 pm) clash on Saturday in St Marys.
There are a number of changes to the team defeated 40-4 by Balmain last weekend. A new centre pairing of Nate Simpson and Cooper Close replace Jett Hanson and Preston Scully. Scully moves to 18th man, replacing Fynn Wilson. Sione Talakai returns from suspension to take Close’s bench spot. Johnathan Mansour moves from the bench to take over as halfback from Jack Keenan.
In the forwards Wyatt Katon and Zac Stokes return from injury to take the second row spots of Sam Eggins and Cooper Hall. However, Eggins remains in the 17, taking Mansour’s bench spot. The final change sees Lincoln Turnbull taking a starting front row spot with Mac Orsini reverting back to the bench, replacing Turnbull.

There is just one change to the team beaten in Round One. Amaziah Pritchard joins the bench, replacing Fletcher Hick, who in turn replaces Sunny Steyn as 18th man.

After a thumping Round One victory over Penrith there are no changes to that team for this Saturday’s clash. Tahnee Potter remains as 18th player.
