Joey playing off an edge, replacing Angus....yes plz!

His build, strength, footwork and above all his versatility, would make him a valuable commodity.

Head office is thinking about increasing the bench numbers by 2 to cope with HIA's etc...so versatile players like him are blue chip investments.

But only at the right price!

I would offer him $500 - $600k, and hopefully he accepts.

Yeah having a tackle shy second rower will be awesome.

Forget playing him in the forwards as I can't see Joey making 30 to 40 tackles a game.

Right wing and can cover right centre or fullback if required.

Around $500k a season would be good value imo.

If he's after $ then he'll likely set himself for retirement and sign his last deal with the Warriors.

I can't see him wanting to go through the rigours of the NRL again. Japanese or French rugby would pay more and be far less taxing on his body.

Can we just make him do a lap on GF day like SKD did?

Yes would be an extension of the silliness in bringing him back, especially after he clocked off before leaving.

Nah, if he is after the $$ then he would continue to play yawnion in Japan or France.

But if he wanted to come back to Sydney, then I doubt he would play against the Chooks as Uncle Nick will look after him and his family for the rest of his life ...

I'd take him back. Would we rather Manu at FB or Cody Ramesy?

I've heard Manu can fill in at #9 as well.

This is true however, finishing on a high in one of the best competitions in the world would be more fulfilling.
Benji, Wendall, Matt Rogers, RTS can back this up.

Love Joey but what I love more than Joey is having two centres who can tackle.

I wouldn’t be unhappy if he returned but I don’t think we have a spot for him.

That’s a really nice looking backline for 2027
I actually think Manu would go well on the wing roaming and making 200-300mtr per game with a high work rate on multiple hit ups
and for 28 or longer if Teddy eventually retires he is a big chance to get the 1 spot for a few seasons still

Deep down I have a soft spot for Manu and although he was a soft coq back in 2024 I'd welcome him back.

Yeah, I like the fact that he can cover multiple positions. This is a priceless attribute imo.
