Rd 1 2000 Vs Eels. Eels on the attack 10 metres out from our line on an early tackle. Quentin Pongia charges out of the line to punch someone in the face. Eels player strolls thru the hole Quentin left to score an easy try.

Kicking early in the tackle count just to be able to go and monster the opposition on their end of the field.

I didn't read all that was posted, but for me the classic Easts play is a grubber towrds the in goal and the defence picking the ball up and running the length. Classic Easts play.

The dropped ball on the first tackle after doing something amazing (including receiving an actual penalty) to get possession in the opposition's quarter.
