We have gas heating so it costs a fortune in winter. It’s on my long list of things to do with the house, to upgrade to a more efficient heater one day.

I don’t have gas at my place. Everything runs electric.

Pissing down up at Narrabeen, have all the provisions to stay in tonight, won't be a BBQ unfortunately . Nice to hear the rain on the roof but not want you want for a beachside holiday. . Going to settle in and watch the Swans seeing it isn't swim weather.

Used to see a girl at Narrabeen. Lovely area!

When I bought the house in the 90s gas was considered the best and most efficient so I had it connected and got gas ducted heating put in throughout. About 12 years ago we also converted to a gas hot water system. Now gas is so expensive.

Very wet day today Went to Newtown to see a film that my Daughter suggested at The Dendy with the family called Pearl Ended up being a horror movie I’m still trying to work out if I liked it or not Very weird and a slow burning movie

I think we are in for a real mixed bag today So far its been pissing down with rain A few moments back bright sunshine and now I can see more rain coming real soon

Woke up just before 7am to the pitter patter sound of rain on the roof, not long after the sun was out but disappeared again to some light rain and since about 10.30am it is has been sunny so ended down at the Narrabeen ocean pool for a swim, water was brisk when you got in but got used to it very quickly and it was lovely, sun still out now just back at the cabin for some lunch then going to head up to Mona Vale for some BBQ provisions then maybe another swim.

A bit of rain again about 3.30pm but has cleared to blue skies again so BBQ this evening.

It’s a far better autumn day here today. Blue sky, no wind, great day.

Turning out to be a beautiful day here, was very overcast and cool this morning but has cleared to a lovely clear day , just been for a swim down at the ocean pool and water is sensational but had to dodge a few jelly fish in the water. Another swim and a nice long walk later in the day.

Weather held up well today, went for another swim , water was nicer than earlier today, just have a cup of tea out on the deck then going to head out for margaritas and either Mexican or pizxa.

Certainly was a nice day today biut didnt get out to enjoy it as was very busy with some work Hopefully same type of day tomorrow so I can get to the beach

Brilliant weather today. You wouldn’t believe it but after mentioning my run ins with kangaroos the other day, I was close to the end of our walkies today about 150m from home and what do we see? A huge grey kangaroo staring right at me and the little fur child. So it was a quick turn around and backtrack adding an extra 10 minutes to the walk back home.

Took my girl out yesterday and like every other walk, she pricked up at the 30 or 40 Roos across the street. She’s chased them before but these days she just gets all big chested and growls at them. They are usually bounding away in the opposite direction before we get close enough though.

After a scare with some rain this morning It has turned into a lovely sunny day and Im enjoying the autumn sun at the beach
