Bit chilly out at the footy tonight. Should have worn a warmer top.

It’s been absolutely bucketing down here for the past hour. Thunder, lightning, the dog’s been hiding under the bed.

Hasn't rained here since late this morning but it is so humid.had the lounge room window opened and could hear fireworks somewhere on the harbour at 10 pm then a possum fight on the neighbours fence.

Lovely sunny day here today. 18 and no wind. Next weeks outlook as me getting randy. 23 all week and sunny. Can’t wait! Might head over to the Potomac and chase some stripers.

Weather was good for the drive up to Port Macquarie yesterday, dry most if the way then rain from Buladelah, rain had stopped by the time we got to Port Mac, s slight drizzle walking back from dinner last night. Rain just started here now this morning

Cloudy and a bit cool for this time of year in Sydney We may get some sunshine this afternoon

One bit of solid rain for about 10 mins but after that nothing here in Port Mac , cloudy at the moment with the sun peaking through at times but you can feel the humidity building. Going to go for a drive and a walk along a couple of beaches this afternnon.

Where in Port are you staying ? May I be so bold to suggest a drive down to Bonny Hills it is a lovely little spot

Good to hear you are staying most dry Horrie and are able to get out and about. You gonna wet a line? I’ve heard there’s some good flatties being taken from the river recently.

Was a lovely day here. Got to 20 and sunny all day with little wind. Took the young fella out for a hit up before his match this arvo. He didn’t win today but gave it a red hot crack. He will get ‘em next week!

The last time I went to Port Macquarie, we were spending the night after a theme park holiday on the Gold Coast - heaven for our teenagers at the time. Anyway there was a massive thunderstorm and one bolt of lightning hit the ground in the accommodation we were staying at and caused a blackout. It completely fried the owners internet and wifi to the accommodation. It was so loud and you could feel the ground shake around you. We never really got a chance to experience the sites there as it was really just a stopover.

Where in Port are you staying ? May I be so bold to suggest a drive down to Bonny Hills it is a lovely little spot

Staying right near where the obsvertory is right near Town beach. Just drove as far as Tacking Point today but parked the car at Shelley Beach and walked from Shelley Beach to Miners Beach and back. Yes will be heading towards Bonny Hills one of the days because we will most likely go down to Lauriton and have fish and chips from the co op there. Drizzle has set in again now but it is very light.

I remember you telling me that story MR, that would have been scary. One time where we stay in Port, it was either 2014 or 2015 we had the top floor accomodation, it was in March and I was watching the Roosters playing Souths on Fox and this huge electrical storm came through and it sounded like it was right on top of us, thunder was so loud and lightning so bright, i turned the TV off. We had the storms about the same time of day three days in a row that trip.

Would have walked further today but the weather looked a bit ominous and I am having leg problems at the moment

After getting out for a walk today the rain has set in for a bit. Did chuck in a rod so may have a quick flick but will most likely have a flick when I go that further north at Stuart's Point than here in Port. The one spot where i like having a fish here, the creek that comes into the river just behind the shopping centre has major works going on along the banks so that is out, i usually just throw the line in around the bridge which also would give me shelter with the rain but it is out of bounds, it is a great spot for whiting.
