Australia retain the ashes with no help from Green.
His match hilights? Very poor bowling this morning that helped England put on 100 for the 7th wicket, two failures with the bat and a dropped catch.
Have to say a fairly typical performance.
However, his place is under no threat for the next test, despite a well performed all-rounder waiting in the wings.
Well played sir!

That was a great catch Great to win and even better for the match to go 5 days and to really have to earn itOriginally posted by horrie hastings View PostBeautiful hands by LabuschagneI respect all our moderators here. great win. gee cummins is a class act. hasn't played a game for months but didn't miss a beat. he'd be a candidate to make the best aus 11 of the last 50 years, with lillee, mcgrath and warne the other bowlers.
lyon was sorely missed on the last day but his wicket of stokes was crucial.

have the aussies already got a winning lead lol? will be interesting to see if the pitch becomes easier to bat on.
from a cricketing pov i don't mind short tests - it's good to see how teams adapt to different conditions and if you look at the dismissals from yesterday there were batting errors but from a financial pov two day tests aren't good

Well we can expect the Sydney test to last till the 4th day since it usually rains and washes out a few days of every test! That Melbourne wicket was a disgrace. Our batting was pretty ordinary though to be fair. I’m a big Green fan but even I have to admit his batting this test was abysmal which I’m sure Eddie will agree with lol.
