It begs the question, why is this team so old?
We've had two debutants this series, and they're both in their 30s.
Where are all the young shield players?
Maybe this BBL nonsense is slowly killing test cricket.

I truly believe it is the T20 that’s causing the problem. There’s too much money in that version of the game now. We do need some young players coming through.

and then

At state level in the sheffield shield it is pretty dire when it comes to young batting talent. Pretty much all the teams have wicket keeper batsmen batting in the top 6. This seems to be now flowing into the test side with wk batsmen at 6 and 7. So yes BBL appears to be doing exactly as you said killing test cricket.

Oh i couldn't let JFC be the only one to get away with it . I stayed at home to watch Head get the century before heading out to one of the local pubs for their Christmas party celebrations. When i got there the cricket was still on and Head was still in and across the bottom of the screen it had Jack was bowling to Head and i said to the person next to me, make what you want out of that, Jack and Head
