Mate you're entitled to your opinion 100%. Fark me though you get fired up bro. It's fairly clear that you feel as though we're farked with Robbo as coach. Fair enough, maybe you're right. I'm quite sure too that you genuinely want the club to succeed. What would you say if Robbo did turn it around? Could you enjoy that, or would you still have the underlying feeling that you want him gone?

I've never completely lost faith in Robbo......but the continual selection of Suaalii in the centres for example does have me wondering if he has lost the plot. Suaalii has been extremely poor at best all year and is killing us yet Robbo continues to trot him out every week. In saying that i think the game is passimg players like Keary and Teddy very quickly, the club is in denial a bit there possibly and we just arent getting any value out of them

That’s got me stumped too! Why has Walker been demoted then? If Suualii is not being demoted despite his continuous bad defense then that means with Sam it’s more a personal issue and nothing to do with form because Sam is tens times better than Suualii even when he’s playing bad. On form Suualii should be the very first to be demoted. So there’s something not quite right about Sam’s exclusion.

We’ve had bad years with Robbo and recovered. I think it’s a combination of aging players not really fit enough for the 6 again rule. Then we have younger inexperienced players relying on the older players for leadership and not getting it causing them to lose their way. Then because we are the roosters we are supposed to win the premiership so with all that pressure, media pressure, fan expectations and add to that umpteen dozen mistakes, penalties and sin bins galore and we just caved in. We are just not coping with all the pressure.

We have to be kind to ourselves by believing that we will improve in time and not to lose heart. The ‘not to lose heart’ message is the most important message we need to hear from everyone. We’ve got the talent to prevail, we just have to not lose heart when things don’t go our way. Once we get that mental toughness internalised I believe we’ll be a force and hard to stop. I think demoting Walker for so long especially Anzac Day demoralised the team and we need him back whether he plays perfect or not. Trent by demoting him placed an expectation of perfection on the team and that’s like putting pressure on a high school kid that he must pass with distinction. Robbo is putting too much pressure on them. He needs to relax and they will come good.

Reality suggests we have been rebuilding unsuccessfully for the last three years. The standard of play aside from the occasional good performance is ordinary and predictable at best.

It is now time to make some serious changes with both the coach and some of the players and recreate something worth watching.
