I'll wait and see whether Carney ever arrives at the Roosters.

Now that the CEOs and the NRL have decided that Clubs are to made more responsible for misbehaving players, rather than just the players themselves, if the Carney deal is not signed and water tight, I reckon the Roosters may get cold feet, given the player behaviour issues they have experienced this year.

Also, Sponsorhips already on shaky ground may pull the plug once they realise their brand will be associated with this well known drunkard.

Thats what his manager was asking right before it became common knowledge that he was signing with us. My guess we are dumb enough to pay as we were with others like Willie and O'Meley. Imho he is worth $300,000 per season max.

If he manages to play a season without incident, then up his contract by $50K. Do the same for each subsequent year.
