Not surprised to hear Paul Crawley and the rest of the panel comment on the Roosters players not knowing who they are because they don’t know what direction they have been given…
I mean those guys on the show aren’t the smartest tools in the shed, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see this is clearly a coaching issue!Last edited by Lydon; 05-10-2023, 10:43 AM.

What team would you select and what changes should they make to the way they play in both Offense and Defense then.
I will give a response when you give your one - fair enoughLast edited by King Salvo; 05-10-2023, 12:48 AM.

How would you know though - You are not playing against them or did a bookie tell you this
By your logic you’re as equally a complete moron as anyone else here
I did ask you to drop this primary school banter… but you simply can’t help yourself
And you wonder why others here completely tear you to shreds?
Work with me bro… you’re sharper than that… at least I still believe for now

Sauulii, Manu, Keary, Sitilli, N Butcher, Hutch, C Allan and even Radley at hooker. No wonder they struggle with cohesion

It's a game of repetition in both offense and defense and winning the yardage and field position battle is the key.
The terms they use is getting into the arm wrestle/grind as well as being disciplined ( high set completions/low missed tackles/ penalties and set restarts conceded etc)
From the outside the Roosters don't have as yet the mindset to play set for set footy and show the necessary patience to build their game over 80 minutes
For and example you are not going to score in every set of 6 in offense so your focus/mindset should be to get to the last tackle kick in every set in set for set footy.
Sure you will have line breaks and what not and score points but you need to still do this time and time again - the old repeat and repeat and repeat
One game to watch from last year to describe this is a Penrith vs Canberra game
Both teams where going set for set but as the game wore on you could see Penrith were gaining the upper hard in yardage and field position - Canberra struggling to get out of their own end and even with their kicks Penrith were back in the Canberra half on tackle 1 or 2.
You knew eventually Canberra would crack whether it be a line break by Penrith or an error by Canberra in offense - A Canberra player attempting a so called miracle pass and a knock on resulted - no need to attempt that pass though.
Even under pressure to make yardage your focus is still to get to your kick and work hard in defense
From the scrum Penrith score and then go though that same process again and again and again of set for set mind set footy - the arm wrestle / grind
It maybe considered boring footy but it is effective if you can do this over a full game
The Roosters play the best arm wrestle/grind team of the past 2 to 3 year next in Penrith so they will need to match this for 80 minutes - whether they can we will have to wait and see

So at what point is enough is enough? If we lose to a struggling Panthers side (relatively speaking) this weekend what will be your excuse for Robbo then? I think we have a better side… I expect us to win… no coronation when we do… no handstands or high fives thanks… get the f*cking job done… how simple is that?

Still accredited so I can take over Robbo's job perhaps- accredited MLB Manager level and Pitching Coach as well so maybe Brian Snikter's role as Atlanta Braves Manager or Brian Kranitz Main Pitching coach - No way Brian and Brian your both a legend as World Series Winners but not Bobby Cox Level Yet
Accredited agent in Aus for MLB so have 5 nominated in the next MLB draft for 2024 - Hoping 2 get drafted
It does irk me the lack of football knowledge on here though and I will be better in this capacity to enlighten them
