I just didn’t have the chance to watch the Sharks game last night and was in Awe of how good Nicho Hynes looks atm and got to thinking surely he’s in contention for Origin, but strong enough to replace Cleary or does he play 6 by default or take a bench utility role.

then got to thinking, who is the better 7. And who would fit the roosters team better in a halves pairing alongside Walker as a roaming 6.

Purely hypothetical just for the sake of conversation and opinion.

Cleary for sure. Esp if it was to partner either Walker or Kez at 6. Better organising half, better goal kicker, has big game success. Wish we could've signed him after Cronk's retirement.

Agreed would be ridiculous not to have Cleary and Hynes as the starting halves in origin. With Burton off the bench. Luai misses out
