    Excellent point, and let’s hope this is the case!

    • The shit i hear from non Rooster supporters re why Suaalii should be told to leave immediately ;

      -He has turned his back on rugby league

      -He is being developed by the Roosters and Union will get the benefits

      -He has done the dirty on the team and Politis

      - He is taking the spot of someone who will be there long term

      Of course none of them give a rats about the Roosters. What they want is to see the team and club in some turmoil. Well bad luck to them because the Roosters front office is too strong and smart to let it happen.

      It seems its only acceptable if you leave Rugby League to join the NFL for no money . Hayne and Holmes left their respective clubs with very little notice but all they got was praise because they were "chasing a dream"

        The narrative is always different towards the Roosters, "poached vs buy of the year" is always a good example of the perspective the media shapes against us.

        • 100 % its all true , this ...gus and rothfield put aside all their differences ...lets gang up on those dastardly roosters, well create a tornado of negativity around them to derail their season...the smh and telegraph are not really worried about the war in ukraine or china or trump's latest shenanigans or any other nrl club for that matter ...lets just de rail those roosters ...every paragraph , every newstory all done to derail this great club

          you think the media gives this club a hard time? dragons, tigers or the broncs when going badly , hell the warriors get smashed over in nz ( and i lived there for years ) any epl club would just say hold my beer.

          its really not that bad been a roosters fan ..a lot of tje media compliment the way the club is run , recruitment, retention , gus even called us a development club last year, but he has been a little negative towards us for 3 or 4 years i admit.
