They won the important one, the one that matters

17/17 1st grade coaches would pick Latrell in their team if starting from scratch over Edwards, Gutho or Walsh. And they'd spend an average of about 1.8 seconds to make their decision.

I was bitter when he left, too. But the dude is an absolute animal on the footy field (though I agree a much better centre than fullback) and I believe it was Latrell's agro and self confidence that took our side to a new level in 2018-2019 and allowed us to bully the Storm during that era.

I am not suggesting that Latrell is overrated. You are the one suggesting that Walsh is not in the same league. I say Walsh is a freak. Already playing like a more athletic version of Billy Slater.

good it's done early and during a bye. suaalii comes out well in this - he could have gone to rugby next year and pocketed hundreds of thousands extra. last year he was a good player, this year he'll be better and next year he'll be a genuine match winner

Yikes. Suggesting that Walsh is a more athletic Billy Slater after 3 good games is quite the statement.

Only 1 game for Balmain Tigers vs Central Coast Roosters in Harold Matthews which was under 16's back then - Played Full Back I recall- His cousin Bryan Jorgensen a winger had wraps on him and played in the same team - haven't heard about him since though

I would say Max could play fullback/wing or centre - 183cm and 103 Kgs

I tell you who would be a handy replacement for Joe is Matt Timoko from the Raiders. I highly doubt we land a big fish like Staggs to replace him. Timoko is a gun in the making. I hope he’s in the frame at least.

Trell is a top 10 player in the game despite being 10-15kg overweight and a bit lazy for long periods.

I can never hate him because he’s hugely responsible for two of the greatest nights of our lives.

The curiosity in me would love to see just how brilliant he could be if he got as fit as Teddy/Turbo etc. I hope he never does at Soufffffs though

Yes I agree when on he is in the top 10 players in the game, but only on every 4-5 games

I still think his best position is centre, was the best on the game at the chooks and had dominated at rep for nsw and aus - I think the best was when he humiliated chambers against the storm, dominated chambers at Origen forcing chambers to be dropped and then taking chambers national jersey

fullback has so many demands, latrell does some well but others poorly, last year v Penrith he got found out multiple times out of position, leaking tries and forcing passes which weren’t on

Absolutely brilliant player and plays an entertaining style of footy. Hurts to say but it’s hard to think he ever was a Rooster cause he now seems synonymous with the bunnies.

Walsh is the most talented young player I've seen in a while. I know this will offend the Latrell fan club but I'd sign Walsh ahead of him any day.
