Kotoni Staggs is off contract end of 2025.
He can run the length of the field at pace.
He's a far better centre than Suaalii.
Suaalii did not impress me st FB in the World Cup.
Manu is a far better FB.
No way Suaalii will ever be able to do what Teddy does.
Wish Suaalii well in Union, hope he makes a fortune and has a long and happy life.

Did you not see two other threads about the same thing? Ego

The Wallabies, Roosters etc all want him based on potential, right now in 2023 he's simply a good player but in 2027 when he turns 24 he could be one of the greatest of all time. On the flip side he could be a total flop as well and never reach his potential which we've seen many times with players.
Personally I'm going to be optimistic and say that Suaalii will go on to be great which is exciting because he seems pretty loyal to the Roosters (Within Rugby League at least)

Yes. It’s just disappointing that he will develop under Robbo’s guidance and we will only benefit short term.

need a lot more than $6m to be set for life these days
Of course he'll make more though, 4.8 million from Rugby plus 450k from international match bonuses (Assuming he plays all) and then even if he's an absolute flop in Union he'll easily get a return to NRL and get paid a million a year by someone (Hopefully us).

With the sort of money he will be earning in RU the decision for him was a no brainer.
Would have been great if we returned serve and signed a star Wallabie.....but looking at this rabble of shit i doubt there's anything that could make it in league

Answer: no good.
Would've been nice if he'd told us he was leaving...before he signed on for $1.4m of our money for 2 years.
I'd be very unhappy if I were the Club.
So unhappy I'd probably banish him from sight to NSW Cup and find someone else to play left centre.

JS is a great athlete but Imo he is not a naturally instinctive player and he lacks pace , which was clear to see in the Warriors game when he broke free then run away from his support.
It's a real shame he is leaving but i don't think he was going to be the next big thing at fullback.
He looked headed for the backrow imo.
