Sterlo was great because he has that analytical mind and studied whilst playing, so he has a good level head on his shoulders. I hope he is enjoying a peaceful life mowing the lawn and listening to the races..that's all he said he wanted to do anytime anyone asks him about a coaching career.
Sterlo also loves his golf. Thurston got sat on his ass when he made that idiotic statement to Robbo. An incredibly boring commentator, and like Billy Slater and Cameron Smith, employed by Channel 9 for no other reason except that they're Queenslanders and high profile former Queensland players, to assist with he TV ratings in Queensland. Because Queenslanders will tune in and watch 9 just because they have Queenslanders as the commentators. Not sure who's more stupid, Channel 9 or Queenslanders

LOL...I grew up in Queensland and I'm from the generation that only had a small choice of TV stations growing up. Being in the country, we couldn't get channel 9 anyway as we were outside of Brisbane. Rugby League was on the ABC and we had Debbie Spillane and Warren Boland who was very articulate despite playing for those dirty Magpies (Western Vermin).

You aren't wrong about the ratings..my aunty won't even watch news geared to NSW as she lives at Tweed Heads so is on NSW time. My uncle says she only wants the Qld edition..

The Tweed area is lovely but sadly getting built up just like everywhere else now. Going up to visit in the first week of August. One of my friends moved up there too with her husband and she can still work from home for a Sydney based company. My manager from my old role is up there too and I'll finally get to meet her in person.

I'm already in my retirement spot in God's Eastern Suburbs..well the sun does rise in the east..the Roosters history book says so.....

Time to get moving and get to work so that I can actually retire one day..

Hope everyone has a lovely week and enjoy the stress free lead up to the bye..

Actually I watched pretty much every ball of it. There's a difference between enthusiasm and bias. Or for that matter calling it how you see it and seeing things through rose coloured glasses

You must be Indian to think this because the commentary was as biased as it gets

But it's Only a game ... yeah sure it is . It's War !! You'd be best off recording it and watching it after hearing that we'd won . I've had a health scare, actually, and had been in hospital for 4 months , with more surgery due in April. Thanks for asking. Cheers Crab .

Some of it would benefit from a bit of improvement in the CBD area.

Yet they still want to develop up the hill whilst Kennedy Drive suffers.

I had to sit in the M1 "carpark" just to get up the coast the other day. I haven't been to Sydney in 20years so I don't know what it's like nowadays but we're at least 10 years behind up here.

Oh Crab...I'm really really sorry to read this..4 months is such a long time.

Wishing you all the best for April also and be kind to yourself..you've always been one of the nicest and kindest forum members towards me personally and I want to acknowledge that also.

Oh all bets are off when it's that lot...much mirth was had in our Monday meeting today..I made cake to celebrate..and it becomes an official agenda item too as we work for one of the major sponsors so it truly is work related to LOL@Souffs...

I always stay at Kirra when I go up as I don't like to burden my relatives (I go to sleep much earlier despite me being 20 odd years younger than them ) and I can walk into Coolangatta and it's so close from the airport on the bus, by the time you actually get seated, it's time to get off again.

Back on topic for Andrew Johns, he really kept going on about Joey's face being a result of a training injury and refused to acknowledge what LM did last year and just kept dismissing it when others raised it...very odd behaviour...

The real nice spots yet to be really developed are further South Cabarita Casuarina Bogangar and Hastings Point spring to mind

Ravi Shastri and Gavaskar were bias towards the Indians. Mark Waugh and Matt Hayden towards the Aussies. But Harsha wasn't

Of course he ticks a virtue signalling box. He is an illiterate dribbling idiot. He offers nothing - no insight, no intelligence, nothing newsworthy. I caught the tail end of CH9's coverage last Friday night, and the entire commentary team was standing there giggling like schoolgirls telling in-jokes amongst each other. It was puerile and moronic.

1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.
