banging on saying Collins stripped the ball when Mitchell just dropped it tying to milk a penalty? Trying to get the other commentators to agree with him. Don't think anyone did.

He said, no the training injury..that one happened last year...like it was never going to have any psychological damage to Joey at all..jerk..

George Constanza was right..it's not fair that all those jobs go to ex-ball players..

Most of us just want a clear, factual account of what's happening on field. The late Frank Hyde said he gave clear descriptions when he called the game for radio because he noted that some of his listeners may be vision impaired, so would not be viewing the footage later on the news. A true genuine broadcaster who respected his audience as they were his customers. Not like nowadays, when its all egos, shouting, cheap shots and loud mouths..like I mentioned the other day, you had to go study at somewhere like Bathurst to get into the media years ago.

I hate it when they carry on like teenage girls at a One direction concert about every half break.
I now turn the volume down when the opposition has the ball, sometimes even when we have it, and replay some things later with commentary.
Fox used tonhave an option back in the 90's where you could get the broadcast with no commentary but you could hear the ref and the players and the crowd
but they stopped it, because of the obscenities I think
what a shame...... it was awesome.

The only thing I know about One Direction is that they were performing at Homebush the same day as our 2013 grand final. I think there was a boat show on there too in the same precinct..great day though despite the heat and still my favourite grand final win..
Cheers to the 2013 10 year anniversary.. can't wait to see what celebrations will be in order..and I'm not even talking about that One Direction concert.....
Nice new avatar too NFS..My one and only car back in the day was a similar shade of blue."Be good enough to forgive people but don't be stupid enough to trust them again."

Got the ROOSDA numberplate at the same time.
It's a 1999 BMW M3 anniversary edition.
6 speed manual, 3.2 litre 6.
Only 70 brought into the counrtry , all numbered with a silver plaque.
So I've had it for 21 years now.
I drove it from Brisbane to Sydney a few times in 2002, including the GF.
Still drives like a dream.
