His short kicking game is pretty good, not sure about his long game though

In a world where there's no Keary, I'd be tempted to go: 1. Manu 3. Suaalii 6. Teddy.

I think Suaalii would benefit from going through the same process Latrell/Inglis went through, bit of time in the centres while he grows into his body and gets more familiar with the pressure of top flight rugby league. Then after 3-4 years if he wants to go hunt more money at FB, he's got the last 8-10 years of his career to do so.
      Yes, you are.

Did you mean a deft or daft kicking and passing game?

I cant see Teddy as a 6 personally.

joey's first cab off the rank to move out of the centres into the spine. i reckon suaalii will kill it at full back in a few more years but with teddy re-signing surely he's down for centre for the next two years and then, if he re-signs, will get a few runs at fb in 2025 when people get injured, with joey playing at 5/8 if keary retires

Of course teddy would make a great 5/8, I'm surprised he hasn't made the switch already, but I'm sure he has his reasons.
I'm sure they are not selfish ones.
If Keary retires then i think it will be discussed, it probably has been already.
I don't think Teddy would do it unless the club really wanted him to, and no one else would lose their spot.

All this talk about what Suaalii wants and how great he is really annoys me.
Some great judges seem to think he a once in a lifetime player,
I've seen his agent quoted as saying he's better than Teddy and Manu.
              What absolute rubbish.

As with ponga, should teddy be making more tackles as a 6?

At the end of his career too?

Given Teddy's speed, agility and smarts I reckon he would kill it in the centres in a few years time.
If his body holds up i reckon he can play until his mid 30s.
This would enable Suaalii to #1 Manu to #6.
Admittedly though, the 3 of them would dig deep into our cap (or circus tent according to the Raging Idiot).

Manu might also slot into 5/8th when Keary retires so the problem might resolve itself.
IMO while Suaalii shows a lot of promise he still has along way to go to match Manu or Teddy as a week in week out FB
                      Exactly.

Good point from posters that Manu will be close to 30 when Teddy's contract ends. I definitely think it means the club are looking moreso at making him the long-term 6 given Kez contract ends when Joey's would be up for renewal at same time.

In both a good/bad way, I think we might actually see Manu at 6 a few times this season given the new concussion rule that the NRL just passed about mandatory lay offs. Doesn't bode well for Keary sadly.

He will either be 6 for us after Keary goes or fullback for the Warriors. I cannot see him staying in the centres forever, regardless of club loyalty but it's speculation, I don't know Joey personally.

The New NRL Concussion Mandatory Standown policy is contradictory - You would think a player failing a HIA would also be subject to a Mandatory Automatic stand down

With Grade/Category one concussions the player will automatically be stood down for a minimum of 11 days - miss at least one game or maybe 2 if their club has a short turnaround between games

Category one symptoms include loss of consciousness, failing to protect oneself when falling and unsteadiness. Any player exhibiting these symptoms are automatically removed from the game.

With Grade/Category two ones ( player has failed their HIA (head injury assessment) in the dressing room and is unable to return to the field)

They can avoid missing games provided they gain clearance from an NRL-approved neurologist. - Go through the 6 step return to play program - which takes a minimum of 7 days
