Players have put their bodies through enough without playing crap level football for another season when they're on tired legs. It does nothing for their future after the game so why would they.

Plenty enjoy it, not saying they have to but there's plenty of them that go off and play country footy or lower grades because they still love playing the game.

I can't see why we would want him. As a back up player he may be okay but if he is being considered as someone to look after the youngsters I think the club should think again. He has shown time and time again what a clown he is.

We owe him nothing, he left in the the end,and if he did stay he may have been part of our back to back ,he's always dug his own grave on and off the field, there is no comparison to cords ,Aubbo jwh and jake

No way was he shafted

. All the others were performing in their roles & ended their careers justifiably in Rooster colours. Unfortunately early for Cords & Friendy.

I don't even care much about the off field stuff it's on the field where he wasn't performing. I value Cronks 2yrs over Pearce's 10yrs any day.

Pearce did his best for us. Just an immature guy who stuffed up plenty, but coppedfar worse than he deserved, and paid his way. If he has grown up he could have plenty to offer young guys wanting to make it in NRL... about what to do, and especially what not to do.

I’ve said a lot about the guy on here in the past but I read an interview that he did a couple of weeks ago and in all honesty I sorta feel bad for the guy. I mean he is an absolute dumbass and he had a good thing going with his ex fiancée and I still don’t know how he could blow that one up.. with an employee at the same club . Though in saying that he has some deep issues with his addiction and has admitted that he had struggled with it his entire NRL career even after his rehab in 2016. He has a better view on life now and could help with juniors in this regard if only he can prove it I feel.
