    Monaghan and Amos Roberts?

    Look how they panned out.

We'd be 1000-1 to sign Too.
yep its true.....Roosters don't spend up for wingers and that wont change for To'o.

I thought Amos Roberts was a success at the Roosters??? I know he was signed after Hegarty asked for a ridiculous upgrade to his contract and was allowed to leave

He was solid. Hard to judge anyone in that Roosters era a success given how rubbish we were. He definitely played better at the Dragons than he did for us. But you could say the same for nearly every signing (Myles, O’Meley, Anasta, Mason, Monaghan, Roberts, Harrison etc) we made between 05-08.

His 3 year contract for the Knights totalled 480k and expires in 2023 so available to field offers on November 1 2022.

If Roosters are interested Radley could have word with him as both will be in the England RLWC Squad
under the right coach & the right system ala RWB… this guy could be one of RL’s next big name wingers…imo in a poor knights season, he was one of their few highlights;… big, young, fast, strong… under Roosters tutelage & mentorship, he could add more to his game.

Dom young is a great young prospect who would come at a fraction of the price. Can be moulded into another Toops style player.
Too is good no doubt but still suspect under the high ball and in defence. He's short so he won't get much better at high balls either. Not worth the 600k plus he'd command.
            Agree.

why did we go so bad in those years? we still had star quality , and were usually favored to make the 8 , but damn we were shit.

Combo of things. Ricky’s intense style eventually wore thin on the players that physically and mentally. In conjunction with Freddy retiring (Parra still hasn’t replaced Sterlo three decades on). Then just so many dud signings (mostly ex-Bulldogs) that were past their best and there for a pay cheque

Sign To’o purely on what he just did to Cody Walker!
