No Rugby no Rugby League though and you can make decent coin playing Rugby overseas - playing Test Rugby you can see the world as they do have many more proper Test playing nations and their World Cups are well to say the least Legitimate ones not manufactured like the RLWC.

There has been 9 Rugby World Cups since 1987 with 9 winners - NZ (3) / South Africa (3) / Australia (2) / England (1)

The Rugby World Cup is not a manufactured one like the RLWC is for starters as otherwise the RLWC would have only 4 or 5 countries playing

The Rugby world cup is much more competitive when you have others than the 4 that have won it - i.e Scotland/Ireland/Wales/France/Argentina for an example all very good Rugby Nations who have made semi finals and finals

Completely agree with King here for once.

Dom young is a great young prospect who would come at a fraction of the price. Can be moulded into another Toops style player.
Too is good no doubt but still suspect under the high ball and in defence. He's short so he won't get much better at high balls either. Not worth the 600k plus he'd command.

joseph Suallii is a gun winger and eventually a fullback, not a centre. At the moment he hasn't got a passing game. We don't need a To'o until Joseph goes to Rugby for the 2027 rugby world cup, probably leaving at end of 2025. We need a centre to replace an under performing Momorovski. Momo wasn't the success Trent thought he would be ! Certainly not the defensive centre position he was signed to fill.

Sure if they develop internally these 3 are up and comers - Swann and Tamati are centres in Jersey Flegg and Toy a winger/centre in Harold Matthews this season.

Toy has played the past 2 seasons in Matts and could play again next year as he started playing Matts at 15 but I assume they will put him in SG Ball next year- apparently will be training with the NRL squad in the preseason as will some other young up and coming players

Others also include Chatfield-Mooka and I haven't given up on Vuate Karawalevu

Depends I suppose if they look externally as it will be interesting come Nov 1 or after what the make up of the NRL squad will be with a few fully off contract either NRL or Development contract on Oct 31 2022 in whether they will be re-signed or others will take their place from the crop of young players coming through the grades - i.e Sandon Smith / Siua (Joshua) Wong/ Ethan Roberts/ Xavier Va'a/ Thomas Deakin/Tyler Moriarty / Ethan King/Hugo Savala for instance
