  • Teddy is our attack. What he does and what flows from it has put good sides on the backfoot all season. He is the absolute lynchpin of the team and Souffs negating him permanently was, clearly, the way to win it. It looked like the side pretty much turned it up when he went and switched to get square mode knowing that they were totally fcuked without him. In the first 25 there was every indication that they were gonna flog Souffs but they ended up just trying to stay in it. Apart from that Souffs seem to have the wood on them.

      • Nrl should be embarrassed that league has come to the crap that was dished out today .I love defensive footy the most but that wasn't it.So much illegal high shots .Players were sin binned but guarantee they will not be suspended unless it's a Rooster of course . The Vermin won so they will off course be happy but to play with such dirty tactics is just plain wrong .That's not hard it's cheating .They laid down and latrine was the worst .Fu#k the vermin and fu#k the NRL for wrecking our great game .That my rant over so now go Sharks

        • At least we treated Trell with empathy and respect. That's the most important thing,

Ha ha Billy Smith back next year. Break down Billy just makes guest appearances these days. Don't think Gildart will be with us.

NRL need to fix the lying down, if a player lays down then they should be forced off the field for a HIA.

yes I know teams will then abuse the interchange rules but laying down is ruining the game.

                • Just got back from the game. Very disappointed in the outcome, but not surprised as, like some others here, I had a bad feeling about today. Something about a reversal of the 2019 round 25/finals week one pattern. History sometimes repeats and sometimes rhymes.

The thing I realised about being at the game is that you don't know if someone is ruled out of the game after failing an HIA. I had to ask a mate who was watching the game at home if Teddy had been ruled out. He informed me that Angus (was he secretly wearing red and green today? - harsh, yes) and Toops were also ruled out.

I was sitting in bay 221 - the vermin scum side of the ground - and the behaviour of some of their supporters proved my use of the word scum to describe their scum players and scum supporters.

                  • Find myself in agreement with those like Seventy Five and bondi.boy who have made (sarcastic?) comments that Trent will at least be happy the Roosters players and supporters alike treated trell respectfully. I wonder if Trent heard how loudly he was booed by the vermin supporters just before the game when he was announced? That's what you get for suggesting Roosters supporters shouldn't boo trell and letting us all know how much love/care they have for that vermin player. Hope you're happy Trent.

Keep working on that "Roosters Style" of footy that I've not seen consistently displayed against the vermin, unless another loss to the vermin is part of the "Roosters Style."

                    • To top off a beautiful night, all of the trains are cancelled and anyone going west is being completely screwed. But hey, public transport is free. Thanks NSW. Always caring for your citizens.

Was there any footage of Robbo embracing Lattrell after fulltime today like last week.

Leave that crap for the dressing sheds off camera. Wonder how Robbo found Lattrells milking off penalties today?

                        • Their supporters are at a level which is beyond real. The language. An age does not matter. The language from a 10 year old during the womens gme recording it on his phone had to be seen to be believed. The article in the press about a family who had to leave a game against the Cows was no different to what we experienced today.

Take the comment in the post above. TRobbo loves Fatrell the most but gets booed the most by the vermin fans. Go figure.

                          • Sucks but it’s done. Cheers all for a fun season and special thanks to 13 for the match day threads.

                            Onto silly season now.

                            • That point of 13 on 11 we chucked away.
Yep Teddy is the glue but we needed to get over it. Then Topps and Angus...Rads without discipline.
We were our own worst enemy.
A full strength side with Manu and Teddy we smoke them.

Fatrell...you fit into that Souffs culture man perfect.

Hopefully this shit isn't allowed next week and the vermin are penalised and chucked out.
