The day, the moment has arrived! Apart from winning a premiership I can’t think of anything more satisfying in this game than the prospect of knocking the Rabbits out of the comp.

We have the best pack in the comp. We have the luxury of starting one of our world class props on the bench. We have the speed of Watson coming off the bench and the youth and enthusiasm of the ever improving Egan Butcher. We will rely on Jarred to lead the way. If our pack does what we all know they are capable of, it should be a comfortable win. Let’s put in for the full 80 minutes and make every single play count.

I’m hopeful but unsure if we can win again. Concerned about our injuries and loss of Manu. I think we played our grand final last week. JWH and Verrills will be carrying injuries and Toups & Suualii unsure of their fitness. We will give it our best but it will be against a much more potent south’s.

I'm gonna get some brekky and then head to Sydney. Pumped!!! I reckon our boys can get the job done. In particular I'm looking forward to seeing JWH, Lodge and SST dominate the middle.

This is gonna be my first game in Sydney for a while. IMO stacks of Easts fans will be there... 'Trell-Mit can't stop me cheering for my team.

I'm not letting the loss of Manu get me down too much, Momirovski is still a grand final winning centre and did a job for us against Souths in the preliminary final way back in 2018. He isn't as good as Manu obviously but I'm sure many teams would love to have him if they were in a similar position to us.

I think on paper we're a better team than Souths and should win 1-12.
