  • I'm drunk and ermmm...

That game was so absurd I think my love of Rugby League is finished.

At the very least thank **** we have 6 months away from this trash. And congrats Penrith on B2B.

To be fair our halves did not take advantage of our space once their players went off during their sinbin stints...shit I hate watching latrell and Cory smirk at the end of the game!!!!!
Of course they planned it. The game turned when Teddy was rubbed out. Fatrell knew the only way he could have any impact would be if he milked everything

      • Not being one of those people but we can hold our head high...
Any Souffs fan with a shred of decency would have a sick feeling in their stomach watching them. They are a pathetic excuse of a club. Head highs, dog shots and worst of all... MILKING everything. We have a team of heroes and upstanding individuals. Some of them out of their depth admittedly but can we can look to next season.

        • They used the Lamb on Hanley tactic to win the game. Good on them.
Once we lost Teddy, Crichton and Toups at half time we were gone. A couple of missed chances could have given us a hope. But injuries once again were not kind to us this year.
          Very proud of the boys.

          • They tried hard one has to say so I am not disappointed with the effort the execution was off at certain points during the game and of course losing players to HIA and injury didn't help.

Season review will need to address slow starts and the fade in and out of games - improving the basics should be a focus.

            • We just left our run way too late and paid for it with injuries at the back end of the year.

Trying to win 12 games straight and do it from the bottom 4 was always going to be a long shot.

No excuses next season, very minimal changes to the squad we must put ourselves in a better position.

Must improve our options in the three-quarters, was an obvious area of weakness heading into the season and really paid for it at the back end of the year. Robert Toia has one his ACL so he won’t be an option next year at least no until mid-way through the season.

              • I will say it in every thread. We still could have won with Teddy & Gus out, but we tried to make it too emotional and they thrive off that.

In the end, we lost because of Jazz & Rads, not because of the the ref, or Cody & Trell.

We needed to be settled up front to let our team play footy. Proper footy. By acting like cocks, we took the game completely away from Keary & Sam.

I on the other hand am sorry I went to the trouble of attending the match.
My team was bashed out of the game illegally.
                    One player after another bashed.
Souths players who did the bashing came back on, and our bashed players did not.

That game killed my enjoyment of League until next year. Thank goodness NFL has just started to forget about things.

You could virtually write Toa off for 2023 as far as NRL goes in coming back from an ACL.

He has only played SG Ball so far so best case scenario is a return to footy via Jersey Fkegg and possibly some NSW Cup games. form permitting.

Billy smith should be back next year, at least for a game or two.

did I hear we bought that Souths winger paulo? And what is happening with the tigers pommy, is he here next year?
