A conundrum - Teddy, Manu or Suallii?

There is no elephant in the room.
Suaalii is worth about $600K right now, Joey maybe $700 and Teddy $1 million.
No reason we can't keep all 3.
If there had to be a choice made then I would let Joey go.
No way would I ever let Teddy go.
Suddenly negotiation time comes around and that 600k turns into 900k - 1m from a desperate team like a Bulldogs, Tigers, Titans etc who will let him play fullback and give him whatever he wants to be their star player. Bad for his development and career from an accolades perspective but financially very smart.
In my opinion if the stuff being said in the media is true then it seems Suaalii and his people are that way which is fine as Manu has said publicly that he's very loyal to the team and is happy to wait for Tedesco to finish up at fullback. You'd just kind of be hoping that Suaalii doesn't turn out to be the next big thing in rugby league but it seems like these prodigies who go to bad teams for money never do usually end up reaching their full potential.
We'd surely have one of the best backlines in the comp if we lined up with the following though:
1. Tedesco 2. Tupou 3. Suaalii 4. Manu 5. Momirovski

The fact that a so-called Rabbitoh supporter happened to raise this in the media is irrelevant to the reality.
There are two key issues here.
1. Competition. Other clubs in the NRL will have additional money to throw around for Suallii. Not even bringing Rugby into the equation. RTS and Laterell are prime examples from the recent past. Stop pretending otherwise.
2. Squad balance. Having 3 players in the 1-5 on almost $2 million (over $2 million if you include Toups) will mean other parts of the squad will absolutely be compromised - halves and the forward pack. NRL squads are a balancing act. Stop pretending otherwise.
The only somewhat sensible way really that has been raised to keep all 3 is to shift one of them to five-eighth.
And even then, is that the smartest move considering Keary would be quite superior to all of them in the no.6, and despite rumours to the contrary there is no evidence that Keary will retire due to head knocks, and may well have 3-4 more years of high quality football ahead of him.

Suali is a fullbacks asshole at this stage ...Manu is leap years ahead...He still does not know his way around a footy field ..it was clear when he madea big long field break a few weeks ago and stuffed it by been "lost".Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Suaalii is still learning the ropes as an NRL player.
He is no where near Toops or even Brett Morris's level as far as NRL wingers go as both of them played a lot of season to reach those high levels of play they produce or produced week in week out .
Walker has far more NRL experience and he is a fair way away from the finished product as a Half back.
If Suaalii's prepared to bide his time and continue learning and improving then the opportunities to play centre/full back will happen.
He has the time on his side at 19.
Dominic Young is a similar player - 21 and still learning the ropes as an NRL player only having started playing league at 15 or 16 - Melbourne Storm actually wanted to bring Young to Australia when he was 16 the same as clubs do in bringing young players from the country/interstate to play in their systems (junior reps) but moving countries was a step too far and early.
Both Suaalli and Young could be anything - why the Roosters could look at making a move as Young is able to field offers from Nov 1 - only on 180k at the Knights as money wasn't his angle playing NRL was

I think in today's market 5/8 and fullbacks are on similar money so that would appease Manu. Move Sualli into centre with the long term goal being fullback. During this period it will allow him to develop further an understanding of our great game. Sualli will be on good money at centre with the intention to play the same type of game Manu plays now, the end result being given the fullback role in 3 to 4 seasons when Teddy retires.
