Not sure if that's what Suaalii is looking for...Manu seems fine with waiting though.

It's a money thing isn't it? A world class spine player will typically get 900k+ a year, quick Google search has told me that the highest paid centre is on 700,000 a year. If Suaalii does indeed become a world class fullback (Which I think he will) he could probably command 1.1 - 1.2 million a year.
I don't think Nasteski is his management. Just a butt hurt Souffs supporter at best. But amazing he knows our club's plans.
But I think Joey would know if Moses told Uncle Nick that Joey is to play fullback or he is leaving that Nick would say something like "maybe you didn't hear me properly last time.....GFY".

And my favourite quote: “Tedesco is a once-in-a-generation player, but Joseph is once in a lifetime. He is going to be the Michael Jordan of the NRL".
Yet they let him go for less money.

Tedesco’s fitness and overall competitiveness is beyond any other player in the game. Should be Dally M Player of the Year this year (and last year for how he carried the team) but people just expect he rates that well each week.

We'll keep them all. All this talk is just trying to destabilise our club during the finals. The only people who know the facts are uncle Nick and Robbo, the rest can get phuked.

If Sua'ali'i, as wonderful as he is now and will be even more in the future, is of that mindset his advisor claims - whereby he must have his most desired position right now, even at the expense of players of the ilk of Manu and Tedesco, then on attitude alone, it's Sua'ali'i who must go.

If he's as mature and level headed and respectful as they say, he'll bide his time and do it respectfully.

During this period it will allow him to develop further an understanding of our great game. Sualli will be on good money at centre with the intention to play the same type of game Manu plays now, the end result being given the fullback role in 3 to 4 seasons when Teddy retires.
This is exactly what i think as well. Perfect

It's a bit like the debate about being an opening bowler or a first change bowler in cricket - Shouldn't be an issue where you play or what position as long as you are in the team - Suaalii will get his shot at Fullback in the years to come

How could you get rid of Teddy to keep Sualli, only to find him crossing the rugby divide in a few years time. I see JoeyS as bit like SBW in that I reckon by the time he hangs up his boots, he would've crossed back & forth between RL and RU a few times.

Said he would switch into the halves.

I love Teddy but he is not a 1.1m 5/8

I’d call BS on any rumour about our team started by a Souths a fan.
They expect us to believe that a 19yo kid in his first full year of NRL is dictating terms in where he’ll play and chuck a tanty and leave if he doesn’t get his way. Maybe that’s the way at Souths and other clubs but I doubt it works like that at the Roosters.
JS doesn’t seem to be egocentric - just look at his try celebrations and I’d rather believe what you hear about him from those closer to our club.
No wonder they’re called The Vermin.

I think Suaalii will play for the Kangaroos at the end of the year & also win a comp at the Roosters then make a move to Rugby & become a Wallaby then go to the Olympics then come back to League.
I would love to see him stay at the Chooks & become the most aggressive & best centre in the game.

Suallii might grow out of fullback and centre , ending up in the backrow.
I can see him being a awesome edge forward in the SBW mould

Luxury of riches… I love it and will enjoy the next couple years them all playing together.

We will sort it out and if someone leaves, we will have another coming through. Such is this great club.

Great first sentence there. Can't wait to read more of your work.

Nasteski was his mentor for a while but I would be pretty confident that he is no longer the major influence in Suaalii's life. If he was, he would not have signed with us in the first place. My read on this is Nasteski is a bit upset that his protege outgrew him and then went to his most hated rival where he has flourished. He now has guys like Robbo, Nick and co. as mentors and Nasteski is just trying to stay relevant

Agreed Sir, have thought that for a while now and am happy with it.
