I'd be surprised if Cowboys beat Raiders or Parra (even if they're missing Moses). For me they're an average team who won games they should've. I know it's controversial, especially after their win against the Sharks, bit I personally think those two teams got their by beating teams they should've and the lack of strength in their draw.

I was gagging for a final against Cronulla or the Cowboys. They’ve had good seasons but were also borderline gifted 4-5 extra wins by the draw alone. Their footy is so plain and simple which is all you have to do to beat bottom 8 teams. We would have absolutely smoked Cronulla and so will Soufffs.

A huge home crowd might be enough for a fresh Cows after Canberra and Parra bash each other but I would be gutted as a fan of either team not to make the GF with that draw. You won’t get many more winnable prelims. Bash JT all game and you’ve won.

That weird media obsession with Souths is creeping in everywhere like I said yesterday when all through the Womens' game, they kept making reference to "Latrell's Bunnies". If I want weird obsessive behaviour about the Vermin, that's what this forum is for! Sounds like they were gifted last night..2014 is still giving me nightmares..

I will always have nightmares about 2014 in the prelim. We were killing them until they were reffed back into it like always. Soufffs’ penalty stats that year were outright suspicious

So now Souths play Cronulla, and Parra play Canberra...... I have no clue who will win either of those, but say I would say Souths are the only ones who offer a real threat to Penrith..... although they will have to get past the Sharks which is questionable.

Week off is a massive advantage at this time of the year, you don't lose players through injury or suspension sitting at home on the couch.
Cowboys riding the emotion of losing Green will be hard to beat up in the tropics and the Panthers have looked superior to everyone else all year.

As a neutral I’d love the Raiders or Parra to make the GF. They could actually make a bit of a game of it.

The only way I can see Penriff getting beat, is if The Vermin get past Cronulla and then employ the same tactics against Penriff.
Have someone take out Cleary, then maybe Luai, Yeo then Edwards.

If Moses plays this week, I still think Parra can make it through to the GF. They did go with Penriff for about 60 minutes, then fell away .....could still give them a fright if they make it through.

They were given 83 more penalties more than us that year, yet we were minor premiers. Yes, that was the year I stopped watching us play them live until these past few weeks.. Poor Remi...
