That weird media obsession with Souths is creeping in everywhere like I said yesterday when all through the Womens' game, they kept making reference to "Latrell's Bunnies". If I want weird obsessive behaviour about the Vermin, that's what this forum is for! Sounds like they were gifted last night..2014 is still giving me nightmares..

I have a gut feeling that Parra will beat Melbourne, I think that game against us took plenty out of them, that means Melbourne finish 5th, and we finish 6th if we beat souths... then we play them again the following week at our new home, which will be awesome.
We can go all the way, and win it. We will beat souths with Manu on the wing and TKO at lock, Gildart or Momo or both of them to come in at centre and May or Hutch on the bench. Then we get Rads back and we beat whoever in round 1 of the finals. Then we play a first round loser, then we get Toops back and win to make the GF, then we get Collins back and we are full strength for the big dance.
You had the Roosters to make the 8 at juicy odds
$100 at 41 to 1 for the Premiership, hopefully it comes off.
parra at home to melbourne could go either way and cowboys might even be favourites to beat penrith up there if penrith rest a few players. it's not clear cut what the finals match ups will be.
our job over the next fortnight is do everything we can to win week 1 of the finals. if the league gods offered us a deal to lose this week to ensure a win in week 1 i'd take it but those sorts of deals don't exist and i reckon our best plan is to do everything we can to win this week and keep the momentum going

Yes mate, I had $1000 on us at $2.30 to make the 8 back on July 3rd, and $100 on us to win the comp at $41 the same day.......the dream is still alive.
I also had $500 on us with 16.5 start against penrith at $1.90.
Those have been my only bets on footy this year.
I don't encourage anyone to gamble, but those odds were too good to pass up.
A tough ask though to keep playing sudden death footy which they have been basically playing the last 7 weeks.
Be Interesting to see the squad on Tuesday and of course the Parra vs Storm game on Thursday will be interesting viewing as there could be a chance to finish 5th for either side if the Storm win plus the winner of Roosters vs Souths game will be guaranteed a home final first week irrespective of the Parra vs Storm result.

You and I both predicted a few months ago we'd come 6th at finals time.

True that, A weeks rest in the last round and another week off for a breather....will be hard to beat. That injury to Moses is gonna hurt Parra and hopefully the Raiders can upset the storm.
The nrl has let the cat out of the bag....................they want Penrith to win again.
Proof is the suspension happening next year so as not to punish their fans!
They could of used that with Collins.
Anyway, if we beat souffs again we'll probably lose the grand final to the teachers pets.
I thought Parra would be better...sigh...so sick of the boy band antics from the other lot and turned it off before full time..Oh well..at least I have my real team in with a real chance tomorrow..we never like to wish our weekends away but 4pm Sunday seems like an eternity...
