If there was HIA back then Wing wouldn't have come back on. He couldn't even remember the try he scored. Freddy off for sure and probably wouldn't be back either.
Wing looks like he came out of a time capsule.
Great doco.
Also echo the JT sentiment.

Goosebumps the breakdown of the Villasanti dog shot and Morley's response.
I got weirdly sentimental for old mate Johnny Tobin when I watched it. RIP.

What could I say?
Incredible and unbelievably good. I'll watch this so many more times. Brilliantly made,
How good is Ricko? I reckon he takes over after Nick at the time.

Ricky was so intense even back then. I've mentioned before how he nearly ran me over once down the road here as he used to live close by. It was before 6.30am in the morning and he was so eager to get to training..well worth it.."Be good enough to forgive people but don't be stupid enough to trust them again."

******Spoiler Alert******* Don't read below if you don't want to see the bits I've highlighted as some may want to watch for themselves which I understand and respect.
35 seconds in - ‘It changes you as a person. It changes your life. I wanted the boys to feel that.” - Ricky Stuart..
Yeah, that didn’t make me cry at all…
Stuff that made me laugh - Cleary’s face in the 58th minute of the game when Wingy scored..shown from 3 different angles too..over and over..why doesn’t THAT get shown on TV ad nauseam over the years instead of Toddy Byrne..
Fletch on Ricko “Ricko doesn’t usually pass. Ricko could be what’s known as a hog. A beautiful looking hog..a beautiful looking man…!”
Fletch on packing a scrum at the 78th minute of the game “Me and Fitzy giggling like schoolgirls”
Fletch on Nick “Nick was so emotional. I’ve never seen that before. I’ve seen him get emotional at me before, but for other reasons…!”
I spotted Mario in the crowd footage and possibly Thirteen too when the pen was doing the countdown to full time..nice how the fans were mentioned quite a few times throughout the documentary also.
Great seeing players like Brett Mullins, (nice glasses by the way) Peter Cusack, Chris Flannery & Simon Bonetti again in the reunion scenes at the end as we don’t see them in the media as much as Freddy, Mini & Ricko..
Jason Cayless’ sense of humility and gratitude shining through after 20 years..
Seeing Moz sitting at the SCG with Craig Wing at this year’s Warriors game waving a flag like he’s one of us…Wingy then filming the current team’s post match celebrations in the dressing room like any fan also..
I received an early birthday present from a friend in the north of England last week and one of the gifts in the parcel was the most spectacular Roosters brooch I’ve seen even though I have had a couple of others given to me over the years and also sourced one from ebay and then another from Etsy. I have named this one Morley. He’s one of a kind as far as I’m concerned. Big, bold and stunning.
Look at his interview spot at the 32nd minute of the documentary…if you don’t get choked up, you are not a Roosters fan…Good thing Coles were running late with my delivery..they just showed up as soon as the documentary finished..Mum always said there's no crying in grand finals..but she never said anything about crying in grand final reunions...
Congratulations to the club for putting this up for all of us to watch for free anytime..I highly recommend sharing it with anyone who would get enjoyment out of it. Nice to see Daniel Anderson and the Warriors get their moment in it also. That just shows how classy we are as a club to acknowledge and respect the opposing team in this documentary..ok enough sniffling..enjoy your Saturday everyone.."Be good enough to forgive people but don't be stupid enough to trust them again."

Great summary..that said, it got me more nostalgic for other grand finals too. Does anyone else remember when Channel 9 did a feature on our very own Shannon the Cannon? They did it during the 2010 finals series and Freddy and Aubbo were in the footage with him. The cameras followed him getting a hotdog with Freddy, leading the chants in the pen and running out onto the field with the players. They even made it atmospheric by playing Dire Straits Brothers In Arms as the backing track and did some scenes in slow motion like a little Roosters documentary. I have it on VHS somewhere. That series of finals where we beat Wests in THAT game, then Penrith and the Gold Coast were truly such enjoyable games also.
