Brooks isn't that bad of a player but no... just no. We can develop players here like Sandon Smith, Lam or move Joey to 6... OR we get a big name to slot straight in with Walker to make us immediate premiership contenders. Brooks signing would be neither.

Some of you don't know what you are talking about. Carney worked well because he was a running 5/8th. Same with Maloney. Keary ended up better than Maloney because he was a bit bigger and faster than Maloney. Brooks is bigger and faster than Keary. Also has a longer kick.

Brooks winning halfback of the year was a laugh and everyone knows it. The biggest contributing factors in it was him being gifted the 3 points every time the Tigers won and all the other 7’s being at the end of their career or just starting.

He stumbled his way to that award and could very well be the least deserving Dally M positional winner ever lol

I think this idea that 'Uncle Nick always gets his man' needs to die.

With the introduction of the Dolphins, the competition for quality players has increased.

Our advantage has been Robbo and a winning culture, and it could be argued the SBW & Uncle Nick relationship was a big calalyst for this period of success.

But you are kidding yourself if you think we can just land anyone at anytime.

The competition for Burton will be fierce, and anyone assuming it'll certainly happen is kidding themselves.
