How long did it take you to work that out.

    • Momo came to the chooks as a reliable defensive centre. Hes had plenty of chances now to get it right. When you offer nothing else you need to be really good at the one thing that got you a start...

the rooster bad form is not helping the bloke.
if we were winning he would be still missing a couple of tackles and people would be calling his performances solid.
he is not the reason for the roosters bad form that's for sure

Well he isn't the only reason for the Roosters bad form, but his form is part of the problem

        • Toups has lost faith in Momorovski and is second guessing himself when to come in or go out and as such the left edge has become disconnected.
The smart teams have also started directing their kicks at Momo on our line as given the aerial superiority of Suaalii, Toups and Manu he is the easier target.

Nonsense- teams are attacking the left side as Walker defends there simple as that. One can say from the Stats that Walkers defence and defensive decsions are the reason for the disconnection.

Momirovski perceived defence issues are related to the defence issues players inside him have - Walker for an example who is 7th om missed tackles list- 50 - The Reason why teams are attacking the left side.

Walker needs to improve that area of his game and his decision making in defence as his defence decisions are putting the pressure on players who defend inside and outside him.

Same as the Right side where Keary defends despite Keary being a better defend that Walker - Manu is 16th on the missed tackle list with 41.

I would rather the Roosters use a direct defence - one line moving forward rather than the watch wait and see crabbing/sliding style of defence - you need to take time and space away from the ball carrier and their support players and force them to make decisions not wait till they do xyz.

I would actually have Walker and Keary Defend on the wing rather than being targets in defence as you need them fresh for the attack not fatigued from the being targeted in defence.

Walker and Keary would be the smallest half combo's in the NRL and any coach's game plan would be to target them in defence.

People targeting Momirovski are not looking at the big picture.

            • Just as you say look at the big picture, your analysis also should do the same. The reason people are targeting Momirovski on this forum is because he does not bring any other redeeming features to the team. Walker, Manu and Keary, despite high missed tackle counts add so much other value with try assists and tries. If Momo had so many other great contributions his misses would pail into less significance. Munster has the same missed tackle count as Walker , but who cares ? His value to a team is enormous !

When you see the stats on where the tries are conceded and scored it makes for interested reading in comparison to other teams - as of round 13 - left and right are relatively even - middle -Roosters have conceded the most tries so far 31% -13/42 - Middle - Roosters have scored the fewest tries so far 12% - 6/52

                Conceded

                Left - 33% - 14/42
                Middle - 31% - 13/42 - Highest
                Right - 36% - 15/42

                Scored

                Left - 44% - 23/52
                Middle - 12% - 6/52 - Lowest
                Right - 44% - 23/52

                • OK I get the Momo hate. Personally I'd been hoping he'd get his mojo back and prove his a decent capable player. The bloke played under Ivan in a title winning side so cant be all that bad.

Me thinks he's in a circle, plays poor drops confidence, plays poor again etc.

Reckon he needs to build his confidence up and that aint gonna happen in 1st grade. So he shouldn't be in the side. I'm coming at this not as a Chooks fan but looking out for the young blokes mental health.... Unfortunately he's not doing himself or the side any favours the way stuff is atm.

Finally someone who gets what I was saying before in another thread. I hate the title of this thread and I hate the fact that I am contributing to it. Every year so many people commit suicide or have serious depressive episodes and a lot can be contributed to social media, gaslighting, threats, bullying and name calling. No one should ever put anything in writing that you wouldn't want read out in court attributed to your name. How would someone feel if a thread was started about your own child, sibling, friend or parent and their work performance or ability to do anything really and was readily available via a Google search? Telling the world that your child is the worst in history at their chosen profession or sport.. And to the one on here who keeps going on about happy clappers, that term is used for people who sing in gospel choirs or evangelistic churches and nothing to do with respecting the rules of this forum that Chris has clearly stated in the sticky. Maybe you should go and revisit what is expected of us as forum members. It’s insulting to Chris and other forum members who put in a lot of time and money to keep this place going. I'm a strong advocate for promoting good mental health and have been since 2009, ironically that's how I became friends with that person. That has nothing to do with happy clapping, being a do gooder or free speech or being nice and sitting around a campfire holding hands. In fact you should be thanking me for campaigning to make the world a better place so that your own child doesn't go through the same.Dumping on people online as a form of entertainment..how would you feel if someone did that to your child? Times are changing whether you like it or not. What was acceptable a few years back is no longer the case and thank goodness for that. You should be wanting me to be on your side and not mocking or sneering. Bad karma just doesn't disappear..you'll be held accountable for it one way or another. I'll reiterate, instead of playing the victim, I got off my arse and started working behind the scenes to help others and nearly 14 years later, I'm still at it. Every day is RUOK Day as far as I'm concerned.

None of us will ever forget about SKD being found down the road here sitting in his car with that revolting newspaper next to him with screaming headlines about him. I'd been copping it at work from Manly & Cronulla fans but the day after that, they were all over me like a rash, offering to go and buy me coffee etc saying oh we had no idea what he was going through...etc..that was one "I told you so" moment I did not enjoy..

I've lost count of the amount of forum members on here who have reached out to me thanking me in private for helping them when they have lost a loved one or had some traumatic experience with a loved one or a bad case of anxiety. It happens to all of us and thank you for trusting me with your own experiences. I'm sorry I have had to now turn off the private messaging function as I'm not a trained counsellor. I'm just a Roosters fan, sister, daughter, cousin, auntie and friend to anyone who needs it who hates seeing and reading about people in our own community (and yes, when you choose to join a forum, you choose to join a community) suffering in any way, shape or form. I live so close to The Gap and Dover Heights and people really do not realise how many people do take their lives every week. It's not mentioned in the media because it gives people ideas. One of my Roosters mates told me this as his daughter used to be the youth liaison officer at Rose Bay police station. She had to give it away finally...wonder why..
