Agree with your first sentence..BUT....I've supported the roosters since 1967 and I think I've seen every game...even when away recorded the game. So don't lecture me on being a good supporter. Also a life time member of Easts. Supporting the team and club doesn't confer that players can't be scrutinised. YOU are not the arbiter for shutting down comments or opinion.

Being a life member should mean that YOU more than anyone else should be sticking up for the club and it's players,coaching staff and officials etc. But by the looks of it you don't and won't.

One would say for certain those dishing the players on here wouldn't have the bollocks to say it to the players in person so their cowardly attacks are fair game for any rebuttal.

We love to have a moan after a loss and play couch coach but it's our love of the red, white and blue that draws us to this place.
We're a small but select bunch of fans from an area in the eastern suburbs that doesn't encompass the sport as passionately as other areas do.
Having a say about team selections or knocking a players performance doesn't lessen our love for the club, it's what fans do.

Salvo I think you are looking at the topic from the wrong angle . People are sticking up for the club , because thats who we support. Players come and go . If the players , coach or staff are not putting in 110% for our great club and many are not then they should be able to be called out.

Sticking up for the club means to me being a continuing supporter even when times are down. It doesn't mean any individual within the organisation is above scrutiny. Coaches and players are sacked by clubs over time all the time. By your analysis those doing the dismissing, club management, including Nick Politis aren't bona files club supporters. Everyone in an organisation is accountable for the success or failures of the club. You are being overly sensitive to think Momo is above scrutiny and if someone has an opinion that differs to you it is therefore invalid..
