I just don't get the justification of Paul's signing. Even calling it "mediocre at best" seems like a stretch. He's been absolutely gun shy since arriving and has cost us arguably a few games by allowing so many tries past him/in.

Can we give him away to the Dolphins or send him to the UK please because ... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !
Great to see you are supporting all the players win lose or draw

I'm not bagging him, this is just an observation/theory. Momorovski comes across as a player that has huge confidence issues. A few years back he missed a kick to win a game for the tigpies v the dogs. Since then he apparently doesn't like taking the responsibility of goalkicking. Then this year he has been shown up a few times in defensive errors allowing opposition backs to get around him. We know he is/was (can still be) a good defensive player, but he is struggling with something. Maybe he needs to mentally work on his game, more than anything.
      Thoughts?

He did make a nice break today,I can see his value in the team ,don't forget he is coming back from a pretty scary injury, so as a lot of our players over the last 2 years ,our confidence is lacking, this is a frustrating time for players ,coaches and fans ,but I still wake up knowing how great our club is ,and knowing we are always in the game till the end,

More choice of tackle than anything else - He is a slight centre compared to other ones he opposes in games - going high initially was the issue as it was against Staggs - needed to tackle low first up and drive through with the tackle which I suppose is something that is not encouraged or practiced much nowadays.

You are too easily bumped off or fended away when going high in such circumstances when defending that close to the line.

the being pushed into touch wasn't good but it happened because he'd made a half break and decided to go for it rather than play safe but the missed tackle was inexcusable. i'd still have him in front of billy smith but some coaches would drop him over that tackle.

Would Paul Momorovski be playing in a Craig Bellamy side or Ivan Claery side for that matter, no. Our coach is weak. B smith was good today, some strong runs and should be above him in the pecking order next week. As mentioned by all, his selection of Naiqama was unforgiveable and on his head. Tom Carr would have been a better pick and a winger. Where is Taku our big front rower?? His favouritism of F Baker is another coaching disaster..Our coach has alot of respect as a tactical thinker, but this year other lower 8 team coaches have picked his game plan to pieces. Today when we spread the ball or offloaded in tackles we looked half decent, but no, back to playing up the middle, 1 out runs a for 5 tackles and a bomb. Dont start me on Hutch, great bloke but......

Thank you Sir. You can be know as a defensive centre (like the good looking fellow from the merge back in the day). Momo is not that.

I support the club, players come & go. After 13 rounds Momo has shown that signing him was a puzzling move. We are not better for his signing.

You might have high patience levels but he is paid to perform duties every game & we can't hope he comes good in rd 26. Theres a pattern with him now.Too much snowflake covering for him is BS.

As long as it doesn't get really nasty he must be held accountable. He can go & dig holes for a living for much less pay & accountability if he can't perform on a sporting stage.

He is correct in his assessment though.

His technique is ugly. Massive hole in his game right now is his tackle selection - always sims high and tries to hug them sort of with the technique of both arms coming over which easily allows him to be bumped off and gives the attacker the advantage of also getting on the outside. Go low Momo.

I think he struggles massively with overconfidence. He has been a big let down, and Trent needs to have a serious talk with him.

Momo is just boring. I know you can’t have a team full of superstars but Momo offers nothing in terms of entertainment value. And he’s ours for three years. Sadly there are no wing or centre prospects in reserves.

I'm not sure some on here actually watch the game let alone understand it or only watch certain players they have issues with - it's quite strange that when they win you don't see such posts dishing certain players - mmm the same players mostly

                              Anyway

                              When you isolate the tries

First try - The Roosters had two markers - i think Sitili must have called out of the play by the ref - Manu was defending near the posts and moved to his left thinking the ball was going to be passed along the raiders line - the Raiders player passed the ball looks up and saw a huge gap and runs through and scores a very easy try

                              Who is at Fault ?

Second try - Suaalii looses the ball in the play the ball giving the Raiders possession- a set restart conceded by Crichton and Raiders score in the ensuring set of 6- If Suaalii doesn't lose the ball in the play the ball then that try isn't scored

                              Who is at Fault

Third Try - Keary's kick is Charge downed and Raiders score

                              Who is at Fault

Fourth Try - Manu fails to gather a kick from Frawley and the Raiders regain possession and score in the ensuring set of 6 - yes Momirovski missed the tackle but if Manu gathers the ball from the kick then there is no missed tackle or Raiders try.

                              Who is at Fault?

You don't rate Billy as a player ignoring his run of bad luck with injuries?
I thought he played well today.
Like everyone would love to see how well he could be with an injury free year.
