Wells & Sheck are the two with immense talent, one of them will come good I guarantee it.

I heard that Stewart's link to the Dragons is all BS and a story made up by his manager to increase his value.

There was also a rumour that we were in the running to sign him. I bloody hope not. RTS, Wells and Alofa deserve a crack over the next couple of years.

Dice which lure did you use?

agree with the general sentiment on the fullback role. RTS and wells will have it covered. The only reason why beale could be a good option is that in the short-run he can cover fullback if wells/RTS are not ready (or even in the long-run if neither come good [which i highly doubt]) and then can be easily shifted elsewhere (wing, centre) when he is forced out of the fullback spot. Also dont forget that RTS could be just as good on the wing (although wasted) or in the centres as he is at fullback and wells is just as much a winger as he is a fullback so versatility is the key to us getting our perfect backline mix.

On kelly, we need a creative 6. i know he has had his problems but he is still literally a kid so i believe that there is hope if he gets under the right persons wing. jake friend was finding himself in far more trouble at his age than what kelly has to date. we just werent stupid enough to sack friendy and instead gave him a chance to redeem himself and hasnt that decision paid dividends. todd on the other hand is a 27 year old bloke who has been sacked by clubs, banned from cities and still hasnt learnt. Im not bitter about him but I hate nothing more than capable people who dont realise their full potential and sadly, he never will

Personally I would love it if Easts concentrated on the young blokes we already have and build a great team.

I know this takes time and it is frustrating but remember how satisfying it was having players like Mini, Crocker, Flannery, Wing, Fitzy, Fletcher, Heagarty and Bonnetti all coming through at the same time.

Sure supplement this with some quality (à la Fittler) but let's not waste bucks on players of the calibre of Kyle Stanely.

No thanks to Kyle Stanley as a fullback option.
And an even bigger no thanks to Brett Stewart.
And I will not even entertain the thought of Albert Kelly no matter how much potential he may have.

Don't even know who he is but he plays for St George so no thanks.

Stanley was nigh useless last night which continues a run of uselessness this year. In other words, no thanks.

                    Stanley is no fullback.

Stewart is a class player we would be silly not to look at him.
