I have been watching this guy closely the last couple of weeks, mainly cos of supercoach lol, and I've been disappointed. I keep hearing he will come good, but I'm not so sure. He has done a couple of good things, like a flick out the back that led to a try but he runs the ball back from the kick at half pace. Maybe that is his full speed. Who knows. But he aint lighting the world on fire and I would rather someone of more quality or continue to push through with our youth because he would be wanting some good coin and he aint worth it.

Chase is the injury prone one and Kyle is having a hard time at fullback at the moment but he a great young player that need time to discover himself as a fullback. He is really a halfback that filling in at fullback but I think the kids got the skill to become a verey good fullback sorta in the Boyd mould.

1 guy that is yet to commit to a new contract is G.Beale. Can play fullback, wing & centre all equally well and is very very talented imo. He would be first on the list for mine. I also like the look of A.Kelly as a footballer - absolutely limitless potential - but seems to have very poor mental toughness/attitude and keeps getting himself in trouble. Considering we look flat and lacking creativity this year, we could do far worse than sign him for the rest of the year on a lifeline and if he nabs a game at the back or in his preferred role in the halves, who knows. he is only 20 and it could be just as much a need for a change of scenary than anything else and plus, being behind carney, graham, robson & townsend is hardly an ideal situation for a young half looking to make the top grade

Going anywhere near Albert Kelly is an absolute no no. Been there and done that with TC. The bloke has had plenty of chances at the Sharks and like TC, stuffs up again time after time. His problems can't be blamed on the halves in front of him because he was no different when there was only he, Townsend and Graham there.
Bring him to the eastern suburbs with Farwit Rothfield on his heels and watch the club implode again. No thanks.

Why not give Tuivasa Sheck a go before thinking about buying anyone. If the kid comes in and kills it (likely given his talent) then problem solved.
Another fullback idea IF (massive IF) he can improve his ball handling and defensive reads is SKD. Good pace, tall (helps under the high ball), one of the best in the game for tackle busts, hole runner, would provide fantastic kick returns from the back if given enough space. Apparently he used to play fullback quite a bit back in NZ.
Seriously, if he can fix up his handling issues i think he could be better than Dugan.Last edited by Steakface; 03-15-2012, 05:04 PM.

Roger tuivasa sheck is a better option great sidestep, lightning quick through a hole in the defense elusive rumnner always beats the 1st defender,18 years old a junior all black rep and best of all hes already a rooster.Id be giving him a run before id shell out 3 to 4 hundred k on a fullback that might not turn out to be as good as sheck.
