Castore - Not Good Enough

I'm surprised Canterbury (CCC) don't sponsor any NRL teams. I always think their merchandise is of very high quality. I can't take to the new jumpers anyway. I can understand why teams wear those skin tight things without a collar but I'll never buy one. I've only owned 2 'Easts' jerseys in my life. The first I received on my 8th birthday and the only other one (that I still have and is in excellent condition) is a CCC one that is made of heavy duty cotton with a collar. The Rooster logo on the left hand side, CCC logo in the middle and the blue NSWRL logo on the right side. It would be at least 25 years old now. No sponsor names or anything - just a traditional jersey that I'll keep forever. I suppose I'm just old school - or maybe just old. But totally agree, Castore looks like absolute rubbish.

Guessing it's something about yawnion and New Zealand?

But yeah, surely they're the gold standard given they withstand yawnion-style scrummaging and the like.

Adidas never made our jerseys for some reason. They made the training gear but nothing on field. They did make the Dragaons' jerseys for a while there.

I would die a happy man if adidas came on board again.
