My 2nd favourite player behind Keary.

What an Easts champion. He never ceases to amaze me how every match, every play he delivers. Would probably be the most underrated player in the game.

Has really learnt how to channel the power in that tall frame esp on the early carries.

Saab is the fastest player I've ever seen on the paddock I think. But apart from that..

Exactly. Just to one dimensional. He just looks lost out there a lot of the time.

As someone mentioned, he has all the qualities you could ever wish for in an elite winger - finishing, yardage carries, aerial ability.

JAC has one of those three qualities and is now a tryless ordinary looking winger on the end of the Dogs backline.

I'm still in awe of what Bmoz did for us on the wing for 2 years or so. He averaged a 9/10 week to week. Outrageous he was.

But Toops has been a 9 out of 10 for the majority of his career aside from a couple of down years in 2016/2017.

He'll have that left wing spot sewn up in the all time Roosters team by career's end.

as great a career as he's had with us he's taking it to another level.

Toops deserving of the esteem he has received in this thread. I value his humility as much as the excellence he delivers in those three areas of winger play stated earlier.

You'll note my avatar is a picture of Toops. It probably won't surprise you to know that it was hard to find a picture of Toops with anything other than his usual calm face.

Did you notice he shook the hand of every Bronco player by his initiative. He’s also the one bloke in our team who Latrell always approaches after the game and chats with.

Missed that Bruce, so thanks for letting me know. Says volumes about Toops as a person and the anecdote about Lattrell only adds.

Oh, and while I'm here, your reply to Vasco about the 6A stats is spot on - the devil is in the detail.

As well as all those fantastic things he did in attack he seemed to be able to tackle Staggs and stopped him quite a few times.
