No, Manu staying is the right choice.


My only issue was that today he should've got his hands on the ball more and get more involved. He can break a game and if he's supposed to roam around as a second fullback (similar to Tom Trbojevic in Origin) or secondary five-eighth in a hybrid role then he can't stay quiet and complacent.



I will give the benefit of the doubt to Manu for today because it was his first game after the face injury from last year so fitness, comfort and confidence in playing may take a little while to regain.



He will come good soon !

Disagree, his attacking output from centre last year was up there with some of the better fullback’s in the game. Much easier to find hard working forwards for cheap coin than it is to find players who can create points and finish off points for you.

Anyway, Robbo builds a team through the year, JWH would not have another game that bad ever.
It was a BS call on our first try.
Knights were full of energy on the back of all our mistakes and just went on with it.

All true. Wouldn’t be surprised if some of our players thought this would be an easy win as well. Manly next week will be a good test, hopefully we are up for it. At least I never have to watch this game again.
