There is no team that can match our team starting 17 that is why we are favourites!!! All blacks lose games last year but with a full team everyone knows there unstoppable just like the Roosters 17 this year hints the noise

IMO the clean slate is important! Too many things piled up against us last year. Getting the chance to forget about all of them and move on is massive.
That is not a true fan !!!!

I fell in love with the Roosters in the 90's being born in the 80's!!! lose or win i where my colours everywhere i go

if you think the roosters are currently a 13 to 5 player better team the current champions , take off your rose colored glasses.

lets try to be a little realistic here .

            that's 13 Roosters 5 Riff.....

I'll back that against any other combination you can get from the two teams.

To tell you the truth OMR I dont think Souths are a top 4 team this year & if they lose Latrell or C Walker they'll struggle to make the 8.
If our Roosters can have 15 of their top 17 fit for Rd 3 I reckon we win by 13 plus.
I rate Griffin as a coach & if the Dragons top 17 stays reasonably fit I think you'll see them be a heaps more competitive team this year. They got rid of the cancer, they have a top grubby forward pack ( Burgess, McGuire, Simms, Fuimaono, Su'A & filthy De Belin) , Im tipping they'll finish around 5th.

on paper souths are a chance - they lose reynolds, gagai and sua but get latrell back and maybe milford recaptures the glory days but the big question is how does the new coach go. esp come finals time bennett is hard to replace.

Saints have some very good young backs too. I can’t remember his name but they have a very good prospect who’s a 6. They should be fringe 8.

crichton ? on 2021 form you have to take luai over keary who barely played, api is all over verrills, come on mate , 2018 / 19 form is not applicable in 2022 , sst was a shadow of his formwr self ...

well be there or thereabouts in 22 , but we were a little way off in 21, i know we had a horrendous run with injury .

It's only an exercize, but I don't think you can pick a better team than that with 9 from each team. Just because Keary Verrills and Collins were injured doesn't take away their talent. And Angus played SOO, and made the NRL TEAM OF THE YEAR.. the only Rooster to do so.
